UPDATE. Kimo Power Tools STILL has NOT contacted me. STAY AWAY from this vendor. And AMAZON isn’t helping me contact them. I ordered this leaf blower in September of 2022. The first one did not work so a replacement was sent. The second one, probably used about 10 times in 18 minutes months quit charging. The charger has a green light that comes on when blower is fully charged. This green light stayed on even after unplugged. I sent an email to KIMO on their website and received a reply saying “the email is returned. Quota exceed the hard limit. I tried sending my email THREE times receiving the same message. There was a link which ended up sending the same message. I called Amazon for assistance and they told me it’s out of their hands as the order was placed too long ago for them to get involved. I explained the trouble I had contacting the vendor and was told by the Amazon rep to call KIMO. I explained there was only a phone number for CHINA and i was NOT going to place a call to CHINA. So AMAZON was NO help. I send another email requesting KIMO contact me by phone on 4/16 and 4 days later still no return call. So if you don’t want a product that isn’t supported by Amazon or wanting assistance from KIMO power tools DO NOT BUY this cordless leaf blower Model #6002. A waste of $86!!’ ... show more

    • Lightweight yet powerful, great speed control

Since purchasing this lightweight little leaf blower in Feb 2021, in addition to fallen leaves in autumn, I've used it several times a week to blow out the garage floor, porches, driveways - and occasionally to lightly knock dust off items stored on garage shelves. The variable speed control button is great, and that's what prevents me from knocking down items on the garage shelves when blowing the dust off. For anybody with back problems or other disability issues, this is one of the more lightweight models out there, and I couldn't be happier with it. I have had zero problems with it in the 3 years I've had it. The battery pack charges quickly and I should have been timing how long a charge lasts before posting this review - but since I didn't, I can tell you that the charge has lasted long enough for me to finish a job without having to stop and recharge the battery before continuing - of course, that's all relative depending on the length of your own job. When it comes to power tools, I usually stick to major name brands, but I took a chance on Kimo due to good reviews and the fact that this leaf blower was lightweight. Have been so happy with it that I ordered a mini chainsaw by Kimo the other day that is on its way. ... show more

It’s compact and easy to store. Air flow is good enough for blowing out my garage. However, despite reading the previous reviews, I purchased it. They were right BATTERY RUN OUT TO FAST, I was able to get the job done, inside the 15 minute run time of the battery. I am happy with it, does exactly what I needed it for. 4 stars would have been given if battery lasted longer. I am not disappointed at all, light weight, easy to maneuver around and pushes enough air to do the job. I am pleased with it. ... show more

At first when this arrived, it came in a small box. The box was about the size of an "banker's box" of files. I was shocked that a leaf blower would fit in it.... then I opened the box, only to reveal an even smaller box... smaller than a shoebox. I thought it was impossible for the leaf blower I purchased to fit in it.... however, there it was. It is small, but obviously smaller when you remove the black hose like tube on the end. It came with two tubes, and two bags for "dust collection". I don't think I would ever use this device for a vacuum, but I kept the bags anyway. Some people received a carry bag, but I received two collection bags which would fit over the "exhaust" end, and almost use as a leaf blower in reverse. I intended on using this device around our in-ground pool to blow away the sand that the kids track in from the sandbox which was ingeniously located right next to the pool...... I found that it was the perfect size, as I didn't need to grab our large and loud back-pack leaf blower. I loved it, and the battery last for a long time! It seems pretty quick to charge, but I never really had to use it right away when it wasn't charged. As far as power, it is pretty powerful. It won't blow you away or anything, but it does take care of larger messes than I thought. I read through the instruction manual, and noticed that somewhere in there it mentions "Makita" which is a reputable tool company. I am not sure if this is made by that company, but I swear it said something about Makita products referring to this unit. I actually keep this in my car and found many uses for it. I have a multitude of blow up toys (for the kids)... I have a blow up pool, a giant 6 foot ball, some rafts, etc. The blower actually fits perfect in to the larger "Boston" valve on the bigger blow up items, and with some creative engineering, I can get it to blow up the smaller valves as well. I have even used it in my home to blow dust and pet hair off the floor and couch. Yeah it sounds crazy, but if you buy one, you will do it too! You can use it to clean off work spaces in the garage, or to blow out your car's interior, or the bed of the pickup truck, or under the bed liner. I get too much enjoyment from this little tool. :) It is so small, that on my birthday, we had family over, and of course they had gotten me a cake. I was by the pool, in my suit and wrapped in a towel, so after they sang the obligatory "Happy Birthday", I whipped this baby out from under my towel and blew out the candles with it. (You are probably thinking that I could be 600 pounds, so that is not impressive, but I am 5 ft 2 in, and 120 pounds). First impression: What the ?????.... Oh I am so returning this..... First Use: Wow, this is pretty cool... better than expected.. maybe I will keep it... Now : You'd better pry this from my cold dead fingers.....Can't live without it. ... show more
