This little bench is GREAT!!! I live in a studio apartment in Hollywood and passed on a gym membership dye to time constraints and felt if I had a bench and some weights I would just work out at my pad whenever I feel the need. It was easy to assemble by myself and to help anyone attaching the bench at the end just lay the bench flat and crawl underneath to line up the holes with the Allen wrench The only thing is I wish I could adjust the bench to do the incline bench press but I see that would interfere with the adjustable part as I'd rather have the adjustable to make room in my studio. Other then that I feel its top notch! I did a set as soon as I assembled it to check it out...Perfect 👌 I'm 6'3" and 260 lbs....the grip isn't wide as some people complain but its NOT bad at all....in fact I like it better so your more focused on your chest like doing diamond shape push ups. I'm no professional body builder and I haven't worked out consistently in 15 years but this beautiful little gadget will get me started. Im so impressed 👏 I don't use Olympic weights but the standard screw on ones so my crooked or wavy bench press bar doubles as a curl bar which is fine for me for space at my spot. Again did I say I'm IMPRESSED!!??? I I dont know the life longevity of this bench as I'm really gonna put it to the test and constantly use it but if I can get a good year or 2, I find it saving me money on a gym membership and time. I can cook dinner and do sets in between, LOL ... show more

The bench surface is foam on a wood board on a metal support beam. The metal support beam is only a few inches wide, so the wood+foam surface tends to bend and twist. I feel like it is not built to last a long time. I think this will be fine until I graduate from my 1inch barbell to a 2inch olympic bar. The width of the rack is exactly the natural spacing for my hands, so I have to do a bit of shimmying after I first lift the bar. In hindsight I should’ve gotten a less-wide option so I could grip the bar outside the rack. ... show more

Pros: Price is good. Seems well made. Love that it folds. Was not difficult to assemble - I did it solo. Cons: The width of the bar holder is too narrow for my high school son. It blocks you from lifting it off or returning it at a comfortable width. Others have posted this too. The other issue is that the pin to lock the folding bench upright is difficult to put in. The makers need to make those holes larger. All-in-all, it works well for my son benching in our tight garage. I still recommend it. ... show more

I was looking for a work out bench that wasn't 459 dollars that me and my 16 year son could use that hold us both and grow with us on our journey of gettin into shape. I'm 510 210 and this thing is built Strong enough to hold me with ease I had Olympic bar on it was too long for comfort with this bench I went down to a 5 foot but a 6 foot is fine as well I did it so my son could lift in here as well. Put together me and my son 40 min cause I wanted to be correct and teach my son he will take this bench with him to college for the money this is a home run we got a 35 off credit and free shipping with prime this was one of the best things I have ever bought on here period ... show more

    • Poor quality and shipping problems
When I first ordered this I was a little excited because I’ve been wanting one for a while now so I saw it was on sale and went for it only to realize the next day I would see better options cheaper the next day. It didn’t really matter so I just waited for my order to arrive. As I tracked it I saw that it had arrived at my local post office but they seem to not want to deliver it to my house after numerous attempts to get it delivered all the postal service would ask is I could come pick it up which was impossible. 20 days later I got a replacement sent out but this time through Amazon and it showed up on time. At this point I realized why the post office wouldn’t deliver it because this package was huge. Ok so I put it together and where I lay my head on the bench the measurements are off by a bit because when folding it up it gets caught on the bar supporting the bench which forces me to push the bench back and it’s already starting to make the bench bend after 10 days. Also the two hooks on the front of the frame just under where the barbell sits are useless because one is flat on the left and one is normal I guess but yea I’m pretty sure this won’t last long just giving people a heads up! ... show more

My only complaint is the width of the barbell when on the rack: to short for my size. I am able to adjust, but wish it was wider. I would highly recommend to someone smaller than me. ... show more

Time will tell, but got this for our 12 yr old son. He wanted to have fun and start light lifting and actually put it together. Either he sticks with it or it'll be a clothes rack. After checking all his bolts, yea, it's a little wobbly, but if you plant both feet firmly, honestly, for $99, pretty hard to beat. Pretty good welds. Folds up to a space-saving 20" x 26" footprint.
