I read the review for this item and it was mentioned that it was too bright for some people (me) even when dimmed. I keep all of my lighting in the house not on full tilt, I find it too bright for me. The price was very good, I had been considering one from Shades Of Light but it wasn't available and was $300...big difference!!! I do wish the bulb was not visible that may have helped deter the brightness. We bought a dimmer, not a cheap one, but it didn't really dim it at all. We will buy a more expensive dimmer, one that can handle what we need. All in all, for the money it is very attractive and I think once we can control the light with a better dimmer it will be perfect and I can smile when thinking of the money I saved. We found no flickering before or after changing the dimmer switch. ... show more

This is a beautiful light fixture and accentuates the beauty of this piece off or on. Easy to install and much larger than I expected. Gives off a wonderful warm light.

The light appears brighter than 3000k and is definitely not a warm light. Looks closer to a fluorescent light. Unfortunately it’s installed already, but it definitely has to be replaced. The light looks great off.

    • Not able to adjust the light angle

Pros: The design of this picture light is very minimalism, which is I like most. The color is a little off the brass color, still acceptable considering the price. The temperature of the light is close to 3000K, match the product description. Installation is very easy. Cons: The biggest problem is the inability to adjust the angle, the light is ONLY allowed to point straight down to the ground instead of slightly pointing towards the picture on the wall. This problem could easily be observed from all the review pictures uploaded by other customers. When you look at the picture below the light, the glares of the light will make the eyes very uncomfortable. The best picture light should allow the angle adjustment. Recommendation: this light might not be the best option of picture light, but no problem to be used as a wall sconces for decoration purpose. ... show more
