- This box of wood measures 24 inches long, and 11 inches wide. It is about 4 inches tall. All of the thin boards inside, will be almost 24" long
- It is full of thin boards that are scraps and left overs from other orders.
- Some sanded, some not. Some flat, some not. All are kiln dry. Like opening a present...you have no idea what's going to be inside. Some may be thicker on one edge, than the other. A drum sander would work perfect
- May be 4 or more of these species: walnut, maple, cedar, purpleheart, padauk, Alder, oak, pine, ash, poplar, aspen, elm, ect....
- All boards are thin....between 1/8" and 1/2" in thickness. Great for scroll sawing, puzzle making, laser cutting, and other crafts. If you have a drum sander, you'll love this box, since you'll get a variety of species, and you can clean them up with your drum sander

The wood arrived a couple weeks after placing the order, but I was aware of shipping dates at the time of sale. The pieces in the box are 100% usable. There are a variety of species; colors form dark to light. The dimensions of the pieces range from 1/4-1/2 inch thick by 2 to 5 inches wide by 18-24 inches long. My plans for this box are to create things with my scroll saw. It’s perfect for that. If you are someone who enjoys taking wood from the shop floor and making something usable, this is your source. I have received other “exotic” scrap boxes and while everything was sharply milled, I was all so thick I had to resize, rip, and plane everything to start working with it. I recommend ordering. The fun is in making something from essentially nothing.

I was very hesitant to order this wood, but feeling a little desperate to find good quality wood that was usable for small crafts I took a chance. I plan on spending my cold weather month making crafts, birdhouses, bird feeders etc. for my backyard garden. I received my box yesterday and I was so happy the boards are different widths, all the same length and all perfect for what I want. The boards are such good quality I have been thinking about a few in house projects that I would like to make using them. Beautiful wood grains. Many species as the seller said, I am so excited to have received them and can't wait to order more. When I have something built I will add photos.

For $40, I didn't really expect a whole lot. Boy was I surprised by this haul. Might have been the luck of the draw, but I would estimate to have $60+ in species variation, most 3mm to 6mm thick. I think I found a new hobby in off-cut gambling

This is definitely someone I will purchase through again. Great variety. Use for crafting and small jobs not big jobs. Some boards are cupped and cracked but for what I need these are fantastic! While saying that its worth mentioning all were in great shape amd perfect condition other than 3 pieces. I've done this through other sellers different sizes and ita usually flipped as in 3 are good the rest are bad. So if you need perfection you may be taking a very small chance if you need for crafting or small projects like picture frames or bird houses its great. UPDATE: 2nd purchase I wasn't as lucky, there are some decent pieces but there are several that are messed up so much that they probably cannot be used. Hopefully this was a fluke. Next purcase will tell all I'll have then had 2 of one experience and one of the opposite. Then I will decide if I want to stick with them or find someone else. Hopefully its one bad batch of many good and not 1 great batch of many bad.

Pretty much as described. Nice assortment that is be good for bottoms or inlays. I was hoping for lumber 1/4 or better. Mostly 1/8 or 1/16. Good value for the price really. None of it is flat, but they are cutoffs. The wood that is included is great quality. Not for the beginner woodworker

I was pleased with the wood I received and communication with Woodchuck. True, some of the boards were a bit rough.. some cracks, some wedges. I don't have a planer, which some of the pieces might need. Still, lots of potential in a box. Just add imagination and elbow grease!
