Don’t get fulled by the size, this thing packs a punch! It charges quick and it’s very light weight and it won’t take a lot of room in your car tools. Between winter and leaving an interior light on, the car battery was completely depleted, like completely dead, no alarm, no locks, no radio, not even dashboard lights. This jump starter was able to start the car easily, no struggle at all. I was very impressed and pleased at the same time. On a different day, after a heavy wet snow storm, I was getting ready to snow low and I just couldn’t get my large snowblower to start, no matter how much I pulled the cord. This snowblower has a starter motor but I could tell the battery was low so the starter motor wasn’t doing much. Then I used this jump starter, and once again, it didn’t disappoint. I did get to start both the car and the snowblower within 2 weeks without charging it again and the battery drop to around 96%., so not bad at all. I really recommend you to get this jump starter as is very well made, easy and safe to use. Just take your time to read the instructions and the leads don’t stay energized all the time for safety reasons. ... show more

If you ever fortunate enough to have a portable car charger when you need it and you did it yourself , you never want to be without. It’s like one button magic . We have two older cars and hubby needed and kept my charger and so I jumped on the opportunity to try a newer model . This SYPOM Jump Starter comes in a really nice semi hard case charged to be ready out of the box. It has a manual but it is really helpful to look at your connection prior so you know what goes where when you need a jump. No more asking others, lugging around a jumper cable and so easy , it’s priceless . Talking about price , I saw what looked like the exact same Jump starter( different brand ) for $90 . Took a star away for that and not offering any real improvements like battery status ( the DC charging port is new ) . This is also a power bank with two USB A out, a DC out , a C charging port, USB C charging cable included (no adapter ! ) and it did charge really fast from 79 % to 98 %. There is only one button on the entire gadget , connect the jumper cables and press the button. That’s all there’s to it . I wish , that because it supposed to be a upgraded model that it would let you know about your battery health but no. Oh, it also is a security flashlight, long press the button for a decent LED light, press again for flashing and again for SOS light. So glad I have my very own personal jump starter now, no more sharing and then not having it when you need it. I hope I won’t need it again this winter, however if there are any problems I will revise this review. ... show more

    • A must to have in your vehicle!!
I had times where it snowed and wore down my battery and I had to get someone to jump me and times where I didn't have anyone to jump me. Having this is always having someone or something available to get your car started. Worked easy and it's easy to figure out. Best bet is to try and keep it fully charged just to be sure you got 100% juice at all times cranking you up. I helped several people already with this, it's a lifesaver when you're in s bad spot! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The 4000A Peak Car Battery Jump Starter by SYPOM, is a very helpful battery pack with multiple way to assist in your times of need. Here are some of the things I’ve learned while owning it and things to consider before buying. I. Quality – This looks and feels like a solid, well-made battery pack, that I’d put in the high upper-middle level of the quality scale for jump starters. There are a few others out there that are higher quality, but this one provide a higher level of value currently. II. Performance – This one is on the lower side of the one’s I own at only 4000A, but still has a lot of power to start most 12V systems. The power run all the way to the clamps appears to be all copper. The built in LED light is bright and helpful in a dark parking lot. The included case is thick, protective and well-made. The digital display is clear, easy to understand and useful. Overall, this has been a super helpful, good quality, power bank that I keep in the car just in case. It’s come in handy a few different times and even doubles as a charger for a dead phone. I’ll be sure to update this review, if I ever start to have problems with it. If you’d find it helpful to see a visual inspection of this product, I recommend you watch my included video in full screen or landscape. They say a picture is worth a 1000 words, well it’s a video! You can trust that this review is simply my honest opinion that is attempting to provide you with helpful insight that I wish I had before I picked this product.     • Learn how to use BEFORE you need it!
I connected it to my dead lawn mower and it spun up quick but cranked for a while (6 sec). After that, the little unit looked like it was done. I tried and tried but it looked like it had no more power. Started to write review and went out to try again. I guess it needed some time between starts. As soon as i connected it and tried within 3 sec like instructions say, it spun up like "nobody's business". It started with no problem. Read instructions before you "realy need this in the dark". The instructions are tiny and when you in a bind, that is the last thing you want to read. Overall I am impressed. I was able to get 3 good starts on a "bad" mower battery and the unit only went to 89%. ... show more

This portable starter kit works great and holds a charge for a while too. Its got a bit of heft to it, but it still isnt too heavy for anyone to carry on their own. Its small and comes in a nice case to hold the cables and power pack together. The readout is very bright and easy to see and i really like the multi versatility of the battery pack. It charges quickly and effectively on multiple devices. This is great for anyone to have in their car, from 1st time drivers to seasoned experts. The price for this is great as it saves you time and more money having to call for a jump, or roadside assistance etc. Great purchase all around. ... show more
