I absolutely LOVE my new “Cowboy Cookin’” book :) ... If you treasure OR miss your grandmother as much as I do (RIP grandma), & as much as Booger Brown adores his grandmother Betty Jo, this recipe book is a must!! We can’t wait to try the banana pudding recipe .. their is a secret ingredient that makes it sooo special. Show your support & purchase your book and you too will be in on the secret ingredient:) I was pleasantly surprised to see the “Guava jelly” recipe, as a Cuban-American guava is 1 of our main to go fruits. So delicious!! Thank you for making this wonderful book! Note: I am so glad :) I did not allow the 1 Star review regarding the missing verbiage to detour me. MY book is gorgeous, intact, well thought out and more importantly it pays homage to Betty Jo(while she is still with us). Booger, keep enjoying your grandmother while you can ... I think about mine as I witness via the show your loving relationship. It warns my heart!! WE LOVE YA Betty Jo!!! God Bless you all!! GOD IS GOOD :) Update! Best Recipes Ever

This is the first cookbook I have ever thoroughly read all the way through upon receiving. Several recipes are exactly the way I was taught to make them from my grandma. Some had a few different ingredients, that after seeing them, I think to myself ‘hey that would make it so much better’. Many of the recipes I’m excited to try out immediately! My grandma and grandpa owned a farm with a few head of cattle, always raised a big garden, butchered their own beef, canned vegetables etc. They passed on a few years back, farm sold, but I have precious memories of it all and yearn for my grandmas cooking ‘just one more time’. Thanks to the Brown family for sharing their family cherished recipes with the rest of us.
