I have quite a few sewing machines at home and have used all of them for years. I took a while to think about it and ended up purchasing this here Juki and have now used it for the first time. It is amazingly smooth. I have never had a machine so easy to thread, including the bobbin area of the machine. The sewing happens so much faster and I love the reverse pedal stitch cutting. I have no other machines that sew this smooth either. I couldn't be happier. the tool compartment for attachments is even organized and the pedal stores it's own cord. I know I'm sounding more like a commercial than a person. But I mean it when I say I have been waiting to own a machine like this one! ... show more

    • Display didn't work, but Sew Vac Direct were wonderful.
When I turned the machine on the display didn't turn on. I called Sew Vac Direct and they were great to work with. We did some troubleshooting and it didn't turn on. I sent the machine back and upgraded to a Juki TL-2010Q. Which I love!. I gave it more stars because the customer service staff were all wonderful. I'm now going straight to this company from now on. Very happy with my purchase. I was replacing a Bernina that was giving me nothing but trouble. This machine is very easy to thread both top and bottom. Very easy to switch feet. And the feed dogs do have more pull than my Bernina which makes sewing face masks easier for me. I really am very happy with it. I also bought the separate attachable table and a set of feet both from the vendor directly because they weren’t available on Amazon. And I highly recommend both. The table is terrific. The only reason I am not giving this a 5 star is because it says in the description it has a 9 inch throat and it really only has an 8 inch throat (measuring from the machine to the needle). I didn't return the machine because it works great - I will never have a machine again that doesn't have a thread cutter! Great buy for your money. ... show more

The bobbin cutter has never worked. Tension keeps going off. Very frustrating.

    • Juki Makes Sewing a Breeze
You have to order many items separately like the extension table and free motion foot but you get many needles, spools, and quilting pattern guides with the machine. I love the auto lock stitch, auto cutter, and the full foot pedal. Sews very nicely.
