This is my first sewing machine of my own. I’ve played around on other people’s but never anything serious. I’m so happy with this machine! It’s super easy to set up. It has a mechanism to help thread the needle which is super helpful! It’s pretty quiet and very sturdy but somehow lightweight. I broke the needle trying one of the fancier stitchings but I know that’s due to user error and not the machines fault. Overall I’m very satisfied with it! I’m not sure how it competes with more expensive models but for a mid range price it’s absolutely everything I needed and wanted as a beginner! ... show more

It took my husband a lot of time to figure it out because the thread just kept coming out. Now though, zero issues.
