I thought these were going to be nice little lights for the steps to our swim spa. However, they're so bright that they make the steps look like the main attraction and leave the swim spa in the dark. Glad I didn't screw them into the steps yet. I will definitely use these lights--but probably on the fence that's around the spa to shed light on it. I will buy smaller lights for the steps. Overall, they seem to be high quality units. I can see they're going to be a pain to mount, since you have to match little holes in the backs of them to pegs you drive into the wood. Otherwise, we are very happy with this purchase and would definitely buy them again. I will update this post if anything changes. UPDATE: These lights are still as bright as ever 6 months later and stay on all night (at least with Florida sun). I'm going to buy more and light up the whole deck.

Love these. I literally just used heavy duty double stick tape to put these up since they were going to be on Stone and I didn't want to try to put a nail or screw in the Stone. They work wonderful. This is at sunset when it's not even dark and they already lighting up. They were still lit through the middle of the night.

Purchased 8 lights, received them on 6/14. The first night all 8 lights stayed on through the night, as of 6/23 only 4 of them stay on all night long. Will post another review before return windows closes, I expect the performance for the remaining lights to deteriorate. This product is truly disposable, glad I tested them and won’t be getting stuck with them. Pictures attached are time stamped, first pic is when lights turned on, subsequent pictures show the time when each of the 4 lights stopped working.

Received two days ago, about noon. Set in full sun for rest of day. Being a night person, all units were still still putting out more than enough brightness to illuminate an area of about 5 feet even after 3AM!!, might have been still going at sunup but I did not stay up ALL night. One thing to forewarn about this item- be as careful with them as if you are handling a light bulb. They are not THAT fragile, but the lense will crack if banged around like I did with two, before getting a couple installed. I changed mounting locations on some of them after seeing this weakness in areas where feet could hit them, etc. UPDATE- Since my first order two years ago, I have ordered two more sets and of all outdoor equipment I have purchased , this has to be the best item. From durability, EACH ONE that I have bought, (now have 24 of them and want more!), STILL work good, with no discernable reduction in light output. I have most mounted in strategic locations on two screws that, while keeping them secure to post, rail, etc., are able to be lifted off and used as a portable light source! While they are not as bright as a regular flashlight, they are very useful! Of all the advantages of these Solar Lights, their main function is still the best thing about them: A solid light source at night that indeed, does work ALL night long! Only weakness, they will collect moisture on inside of lens in very wet conditions, but all work good and eventually dry out. Again 5+ stars. Great product!

I purchased these lights to illuminate the stairs of a new deck we just had built for my parents. They love the look of these lights and they do a great job lighting up the steps at night! A small number of the lights didn't turn on at night a few days after we installed them, they may have been defective so I contacted customer service earlier today and they will be shipping over new lights in a few days! So far, I'm very satisfied with this product overall, as well as the customer service.

Let me start by saying you will come back for more. These solar deck lights are amazing. We put them up around our deck and pool. We have had five days in a rowe of rain and they still work. Putting them up was a breeze. We used double sided outside tape for most of them. We did use the hardware that came with three of them for the rail on our steps leading up to the deck . I love the fact that they come on automatically at desk and continue shining well into the morning hours. They were packaged very well and all lights were working . We now own 14 of them and will get more when I can think of another place to put them.

Installed 12 of these KASUN solar lights on my deck about two weeks ago now. Before installing I set them to charge and test on an outdoor table with the switches set to ON. All 12 charged up and activated at dark, so I moved on to the final install. I found it best to cut out a template made of cardboard to use for consistent and equal spacing of drilling of the mounting holes/screws. After the install I have so far been completely satisfied with the light output and style of these solar lights, and have another set of 8 on the way to expand usage to my mailbox post and the last few deck posts. Now for the test of time to see how durable these are over a few northeast seasons, although I do plan to take them in for the winter.

UPDATE - After I posted my issue the company reached out to me, and they were EXCELLENT!!! They said they would ship me replacements for the lights that did not work, and asked for my address. DONE!! This is the great thing about ordering from Amazon. Most companies I have dealt with strive to help customers out when there are product issues! I have to say, I really loved these lights at first and for a few months. I bought a set, loved how they looked and then bought 3 more to use on our fence. Over the last few months 4 of them have stopped working. 2 from the first set and 2 more from the next 3 sets. Lights seem great but there seems to be a quality control issue.
