Such a happy little turtle. The flowers are bright and colorful and the turtle's expression is so happy. The resin seems sturdy. There are no batteries required. A charge time of at least 6 hours per day is required and the ON switch must be "on" in order for the turtle to charge. Mine worked right out of the box and the lights were quite bright for solar. Two things I wish were different. 1) The flower design is only on the front of the turtle. The back is smooth with no decoration and that is where the solar panel resides. 2) I wish the placement of the lights throughout the flowers was more random. It’s cute but it’s the size of my hand.
