The solar light housing case feels of durable plastic. To turn it on , pull the top up and switch on/off. It will turn on when there is low light. I liked the look of the bronze so, I ordered it and I am pleased. Simple set up, place the sticker where you want to hang it. That's it. Don't forget you need sunlight to charge it. Well it said Edison type bulb I wanted something different but it doesn't appear to be like Edison bulbs I have seen. Otherwise the lights are awesome. One thing I do like they give you a template where to place the screws and it's a sticker so it doesn't move while putting in the screw. Now the Phillips head screws that's another store I went threw about 8 different bits to get one actually somewhat work. Our driveway is 1000 ft long from the road and you can see them turning down our driveway. ... show more

Got them at the beginning of May and they are only lasting until around 2a.m. When they were new, they would last nearly until sunrise. I think I will just try low voltage landscape lighting instead.

Bought one pack of 8 lights. Came with batteries installed and template for location of mounting screws. Used them on my deck railing of Rv. They remain lit the entire night providing we have adequate sunlight. Liked these so much I purchased a second set. They are easy to remove. The lights are exactly what I wanted in my fenced yard. Unfortunately, many of the lights are mounted on the posts beneath trees..they just don’t get enough sunlight to charge them fully. They last for about an hour. Those that are in the sunlight last almost 5 hours on a charge. Purchased in May, the screws in the back are rusting!! ... show more

For being inexpensive and solar charged, these are incredible!! I have them on every fence post in my yard. There are even 6 of them are shaded by tree branches all day and they still illuminate as bright and last as long as the ones taking direct sunlight! Would absolutely buy these again!

The lights give off enough for what I am looking for however i thought they could both dill or you could stick them on. I should have read the description better.
