These are wonderful and my sister loves them! She had had two people trip or miss the last step. Her back porch is on north side of house facing east. What makes these outstanding is the garage is also on east side of porch so the concern was lights not getting enough sunlight. But as you can see they light up the steps nicely. She took a vacation the day after they were installed and when she got home it was at night so she called me the next morning and said the lights were so pretty and lit up the steps perfectly. The visitors who have visited during this season when it’s dark at 5:30 have all commented on how pretty they are and how nicely the light up the steps! ... show more

I really like the modern, low-profile design of these lights. They blend well with my fence and look sleek, even during the day. Installation was straightforward, and the charging time seems reasonable. Once fully charged, they stay on throughout the night without issue. That said, these are more about ambience than utility. The plastic housing feels a bit thin, though not fragile, and the light output is very dim. I mounted them along the top of a good neighbor fence, and while they illuminate the fence face nicely, the light doesn’t make it to the ground. Think ~3-foot radius of soft glow — just enough to look nice from a distance, like from a window, but not enough to light a path or yard. If you’re looking for accent lighting or to add some visual appeal to your outdoor space, these deliver. Just don’t expect them to brighten up the night. ... show more

I installed these in my backyard and also in the public area by our trash cans and they are still going strong almost two years later! They look great and add a lot of ambience. They aren't super bright, but very atmospheric. Highly recommend. Great bang for your buck.

    • SEASONED "SOLAR LIGHTING" USER REVIEW

Work great even in areas that did not previously work at all because of obstructed sunshine and these last for hours longer. Have been ordering and using "solar lighting" for years on yard and home. Began when most solar lighting was confined to that ugly "blue light" which I refused to use, and began ordering a variety of brands claiming "warm light". Some were completely fraudulent. Others did not work. Other worked for only an hour or two. Eventually, over time found some brands that were much improved, and lasted for hours (I was very satisfied with them). Had a combination of "spot lights" and "path lighting". I used "spot lighting" as light in a fenced area, but because of the "shading", they never really worked, quickly dimming, and eventually not even charging. Some leaked water and became full of water because of the angle needed for "fence lighting'. When I saw these working on that fence area brilliantly, and lasting very late into the night, even with the partial shade, I was "blown away". Have only had these a few weeks, so over time this review cannot speak to the issue of "durability". I have had others in use for "years". But... as far as finally getting "solar lighting" right (out of the box), this brand clearly gets it right. It is bright, last long, looks good, and doesn't wither and die because of slight or partial shading. Would highly recommend them if anyone is looking to be "serious" about "solar lighting". Nice looking, easy to install, bright and a great price but they don't last all night. I'm not sure if that was advertised, but they only last about 4 to 5 hours, then go out. Will research longevity better next time I purchase fence lighting for something that will last overnight.
