These are pretty, but cheap... I liked them the first 2 weeks they actually stayed bright! They just got dimmer and dimmer by the day and literally within 2-3 weeks they were no longer bright at all. I replaced the batteries so we'll see, maybe they were just super cheap batteries, but I figured it would be months before I'd have to change them, not a couple weeks!! Also the plastic stakes you put them on were so cheap that 2 out of the 4 I put out broke as I tried to stake them in the ground (it's still winter so I didn't put many out yet, and the ground is pretty hard still, so I'll have to wait to put the rest out until it's warmer). Overall I guess you get what you pay for. But I think I was better off just getting them at the dollar store and would've paid less! I did like the star pattern though! They are pretty... Just wish they worked better!!

What can I say? I ordered these on April 21, didn't install them until early June. Here it is September and half of them are either dead, dying or not working at all. They worked well the first few weeks. Brightness was ok though I wish they could of been maybe a notch or two brighter. Def seemed more for decor versus actually being bright enough to light the way. But for what I paid I was satisfied. After a few weeks though I noticed that what little brightness was there seemed to diminish. Note the pictures above being placed slightly under my front bushes I expected there to be some issue with not getting enough sunlight from time to time. But as you can see my bushes aren't particularly dense and shouldn't have affected them to this extent. Well, long story short... even the 6 I placed around the deck and side of the house don't work and they have direct sunlight. So for the past month or two I've been taking them off the stalks and sitting them in the sun during the day and placing them back at night. Nope... some would recharge and work for a day or two. Others as in the picture barely have any kind of brightness and that's after 2 days sitting in the sun. The other 3 on top are completely dead. While the others are just barely working. Sure, you get what you pay for. Totally understand that. But I at least wanted to get 1 season out of them. Here we are 4 months later with half alive, a few dying and some completely dead. That's just ridiculous. So no... don't buy these. Very disappointed.

I live in Los Angeles so we get lots and lots of sun but despite the lights chilling in the sunlight all day they are so weak at night. They don’t even light up a square inch. The parts are easy to connect but they’re cheap and can easily be taken apart again as I saw today with my 2 year old. Some of the lights were crooked and needed to be straightened out as I was assembling them. Furthermore if your dirt is even a little hard, you run the risk of the lights breaking. I guess I used a little too much force because the clear plastic casing around the bulb shattered when I was trying to plant the stake in the dirt. Overall super disappointed. More so at myself for throwing out the box so I can’t return them.

Update: these lights are worthless. They do not emit any light. I have had them for six months. Originally, I thought the lack of light was because it was summer/fall and the trees were blocking the sun from solar charging them. Now that it’s winter, they have access to full light all day, yet at night they emit no light. They’re also terribly flimsy. I have accidentally bumped into some and they immediately bend. Total waste of money. I think you get what you pay for. These are nice lights - nothing spectacular, but for 30 bucks for 12 lights, I’m not complaining (at least not too much...). They aren’t very bright, but they still add a nice aesthetic to the beds in our yard. I do wish the stake would somehow lock into the pole. I put a couple in the ground and then decided to move them. Unfortunately, the pole comes right out and leaves the stake firmly in the ground. Also, don’t push too hard when putting them in the ground. I accidentally broke one of the lights when I pushed it into the ground, but it still works, so that’s a plus! Despite these critiques, I’ve ordered another dozen. Like I said, for the price, I think they’re worth it.

They look great, were easy to put together and install.. took about 5 minutes to assemble and it’s as easy as sticking in the ground. Sad part is they are not bright whatsoever and only stay lit for about 2 hours! I have solar on my roof so I know how much solar power was generated today and we had full sun for about 8 hours today. Only stayed bright and “on” for 2 hours total and most of the time were dim. They face south as well. Pretty bummed. Will have to get something else!

The product overall meets basics aesthetic needs but one month after install I have four (4) out of the twelve (12) of the outdoor lights that have severely diminished in brightness/ no longer emit light. I know that these are inexpensive for the quantity provided but the failure rate is 33% within one month in my case which is not good. Hopefully this can be remedied by the vendor.

I have all of these along a stretch of walkway. They all have direct sunlight for 8 to 10 hours a day. Brand new, out of the box, they work for varying lengths of time. Some die out much quicker than others. To be honest, none of them are "bright". They are just cute, along the edge of the walkway. About all they really do is provide a marker so you don't step into the plants. The product is jsut OK, but of course, if you have the right place ( and expectation ), then these may be a worthwhile investment as an accent within your yard for a single party event. UPDATE: There are 12 of these in a pack. Within 4 weeks, 5 of them died. They are in sealed cases so you can't check the battery to be sure it is secure. I reached out to Amazon, and they said to send them back, BUT they are charging me a restocking fee ... so they intend to RESTOCK defective items ?
