Description

This clever caddy has been carefully designed to help reduce the smell from collected food waste. It has a unique, ventilated design that allows air to enter and circulate inside the caddy, which helps to reduce moisture - the main cause of unpleasant odors from decomposing food. In addition, it features a replaceable odor filter in the lid that works in tandem with the fresh air to help trap any smells that do occur. It has an easy-clean polypropylene body, a flip-top lid and a sturdy stainless-steel carry handle. A liner- retaining hole inside ensures any liners stay in place and the rim of the removable lid hides any untidy bag overhang. Perfect for storing on a kitchen counter. Custom-fit liners (IW2) are available separately for the perfect fit. Total capacity (1 US Gallon/4 Liters).

I hung this on the cupboard beside where I use the cutting board so that when I open the cupboard it lines up with where I need it. I struggled getting the screws and i think I may have stripped a screw because the mounting bracket still felt a little loose. But I don't even notice it now and it looks amazing. Im happy because I was worried the screws would be too long for my thin cupboards but they were perfect. I love how it looks and feels the lid is really nice it opens easy and stay open then shuts easily. It plus off the bracket nicely as well. Product is is very quality made. I don't have the compost bags so im using grey walmart bags with a half paper towel in the bottom. I'm very picky about items so I'm pleased to say I'm a very happy customer. ... show more

I liked the size and look of this container, but it arrived with one of the plastic lid tabs broken off. It's just a little tab that holds the lid in place when opening and closing. If it's broken or missing, lid does not sit open. You have to remove the lid entirely to put food scraps in to it. I replaced it with a container that had no tabs to be broken off. ... show more
