After reviewing several rower in various price ranges we decided to try this JOROTO Rower. We felt that the combination of features, quality, price and good reviews made it a well worth checking out. First, it arrived when expected and we received a security code via email to read to the delivery person. The rower was packed very well and nothing was damaged or missing. Second, this rower was fairly easy to assemble, although I would have preferred that the individual parts be lettered or numbered. But that's a very minor detail because each part was pretty easy to identify. It appears to be very sturdy when completely assembled. Third, when I tried it out it did not disappoint. It's very smooth and really quiet when in use. The display monitor is pretty decent. It requires two C batteries (included) and doesn't need to be plugged into an electric outlet. That's a big plus in my opinion. It works well with the Kinomap application, which I downloaded from the app store on my phone. It's said to be compatible with other fitness apps as well, but I have yet to try them out. I decided to mirror my screen to my smart tv so all the training videos and scenery are big and beautiful. I love how fluid this rower is and it is very comfortable to use. The resistance is pretty decent and easily adjustable. So far I'm very happy with this purchase and my wife and kids love it. We've tried other rowers that cost much more, but we all agree that this JOROTO rower is a great combination of good features and affordability. I would definitely recommend it. ... show more

This rower was easy to assemble. It only took a couple of hours to put together by myself. Machine is very sturdy, and as a variety of tension settings that allow you to adjust to your level of fitness. This rower by JOROTO is awesome! I love how smooth and quiet it is during my workout. The rower is designed well and built strong. The rowing resistance is perfect with their air and magnetic resistance combination. Plenty of adjustability for all fitness levels. Packaging was delivered in great shape. I usually like the wait a few weeks before I make any commentary on items like this. I have found that often things that Work initially well failed to do so after several weeks or a month. I do use this on a regular basis and so does my husband, and we are both very pleased. my son has the more expensive concept 2 machine, but paid significantly more for it also. I feel like this machine is a pretty fair comparison, and not nearly as pricey. That said, we’re not getting into any kind of professional or competitive rowing, so it very much meets our needs. I think if you want reliable quality without going over $1000–this machine is a good option. I wouldn’t say it was difficult to assemble, but you do need two people. Trust me, I have assembled a lot of things myself that say two people required. This is not one of them. They aren’t kidding when they say you need two people! ... show more

Very easy to put together, instructions were great. Smooth & quiet. Folds up easily & re-set up is easy, & easy to move rower around. Only dislike for it it one of my rollers on the seat has a creaking sound! Can’t see anything wrong to figure out how to fix it. Truly love rowing machines, great purchase! Assembly was relatively easy with the only hiccup being Step 6. Making sure everything is aligned and getting the socket head cap screws (32) to screw into A8 is a bit tricky. Beyond that the assembly was easy though. Everyday use and folding/unfolding is a piece of cake. Using it for 30-40 minutes at a time at lower resistance settings to augment my running and cycling. The seat has been surprisingly comfortable. The display works well, but is hard to read if the room is dark. My only concern for long term use is the nylon strap that connects the pulling handle to the flywheel. But the unit seems very sturdy and I had no broken or missing parts. This is my first experience with a rowing machine so I don't know what is good or bad, mechanically. You have to pay for the app features, but I'm not that advanced so I don't use it. I do love the way it folds and rolls. I am able to move it quickly when the robot vacuum starts on that room!
