Don't call this "cute." It's a high-quality tool for serious woodworkers. While it is scaled down, nothing is left off. It has a knurled knob for fine blade position adjustment and a relatively large diameter "spinwheel" to lock the blade in place once adjusted. So many miniature planes have only the most rudimentary blade adjustment and retention features. The cast iron body is nicely finished in orange and the sole is machined flat with a smooth finish that should glide over wood with ease. This arrives in a nice little JORGENSEN-branded box. Inside is the plane in a vacuum-formed plastic liner, instructions, VCI corrosion-inhibiting paper, a desiccant pack, and an instruction booklet.
