It's small and that is what makes it useful for my needs. I use it mainly for trimming up my 3d prints. Obviously it works best on straight edges, but it's easier and safer than using a exacto knife for trimming.

It’s way smaller than I thought it would be, only the length of my forefinger, if that. Having said that , I bought it so I could take the sharp corners off wood, or should I say edges. It actually does a real good job. So a thumbs up if that’s what you want it for.

Very special and unique miniature wood working tool. Well made, excellent material quality. Only one shortcoming: The blade of the planer fits inside the planer with a little free play, which means one has to take care to align the blade evenly before tightening with the fixing screw. Very nice for what it is. Blade needed only a tiny bit of honing. Size is what I wanted. The only note is that it is hit and miss to set the blade; there is no adjustment, only set and try repeatedly until it is just right.

This is a very small finger plane. It is used for small jobs, such as knocking down a sharp edge. I have been extremely impressed a the usefulness and quality for such an inexpensive plane. I use it every day I'm in the shop. I have had it for a couple months now and I have not sharpened it yet. Is this a fine woodworking plane that will be handed down to the next generation? No. For the money, is this a great finger plane to have in your shop apron for little tasks? Yes. ... show more

I like this product quite a bit, a small plane is essential for woodworking. My biggest complaint would be the due to its construction, the depth of the blade can be difficult to set; but, once you get a feel for how it handles it's no real issue. Be aware,it is a very small plane (not a bad thing).
