Blades are nice i ended up buying the kit with the case since these are so nice. If you have struggle with 12 and 14 inch blades in the past trying to skim coat walls these will be like magic. If you do any, any patch work at all. You needed these 10 years ago.....10000% the best tool I have purchased for mud work. I'm so amazed at what I can do with these. Smooth is what it produces!!!!! 6 stars

before using these skimming blades, I was overhelmed with the task of removing the old, ugly texture. I started using the biggest (12') blade and making no headway. My wall were crooked up & down, almost every other 16" center. And as with any tool there is a learning curve. My walls are now smooth & flat.
