Description
The JOOLA Vision CGS 16mm Pickleball Paddle has emerged as one of the most popular paddles in the JOOLA lineup. The elongated paddle shape allows the racket to slice through the air at higher speeds and reach further to pull balls out of the air. The Carbon Grip Surface provides a durable, gritty surface you can feel and use to hit shots you didn't know you had in you. Within the paddle you'll find the Response Honeycomb Polymer Core that brings up the control score and enhances the pop. USAPA Approved pickleball paddle for professional, recreational, and tournament play.

The paddle is so good. Very worth the price tag. decent power but very good control. Nice and comfortable grip. No need for overgrip.

Great paddle!
Love my new paddle! I have been playing with a beginner paddle for two years now and finally decided I needed to try something other than the "beginner" paddle. This has a nice grip and a slight amount of "teeth" to the finish so you can add a little spin to your shots.

Recommended for beginners.
It is a very decent beginner paddle. Value for money is high, and it is extremely forgiving during play. It is a very soft, control paddle that will allow you to place shots well without popping the ball up in panic. One star taken off because it has almost no power. Very hard to finish points with this paddle once you get to a higher level play.

Great light weight paddle
Love this paddle! I’ve been dealing with tennis elbow for 6 months. I finally decided to try a lighter paddle and finally feeling less pain!

GREAT Paddle. Not the best on the planet, but VERY good!!
I purchased this pickleball paddle on Black Friday and I was skeptical, as I hadn't tried the paddle in person. But, being a Joola, I hoped it was everything it had been hyped up to be... When I received it, I immediately tried it out and I found that the hype was 100% accurate - this paddle is amazing. My spins are substantially stronger and more effective. My control of the ball is infinitely better than it was with my old paddle. And I can play longer because the lightweight materials it's made from saves my elbow and arm from tiring too quickly. Do yourself a favor and BUY THIS PICKLEBALL PADDLE. You'll be glad you did!! Or, at least I'm glad that *I* did! :)

Surface degradation and Handle Wrap
I initially loved this paddle for the rough surface (spin) and the large sweep spot, BUT - 1) over the past two months the surface roughness has decreased along with the spin. A friend bought a new Joola paddle and there is a easy to feel difference in roughness between the new paddle and my 3 month old paddle. 2) I've had problems with a bruised middle finger where I grip the handle. In the picture you can see the black and blue extending from my finger down into the palm. It's happened three times and only since I've begun using this paddle. The cause, I believe is the raised ridges on the handle wrap. See the picture. Those raised ridges create a high pressure point on my finger whenever the ball is struck thus creating the bruising. I've examined my previous 3 paddles and none have raised ridges; the surface is relatively smooth distributing the force over a much larger area of my finger. I've communicated with customer service and their solution is for me to buy overwrap or re-wrap the handle. This is not what I expect from a $170 paddle.
