Drawing inspiration from the tennis rackets that made Agassi a household name, the Agassi Paddle combines with the JOOLA Vision to create the Agassi Heat Vision 16mm. This model features JOOLA’s latest thermoform process, extending through the handle and connecting to the paddle’s neck to enhance both stability and flexibility while delivering greater power and durability. The Agassi Heat Vision is also equipped with JOOLA’s SK Film, a specialized layer placed between the paddle surface and core to improve vibration dampening. This reduces fatigue over time without sacrificing control.     • Raised My Game Without Feeling Like I Had to Relearn Everything

I picked up the 16mm Vision version after a few months of playing with a basic starter paddle and feeling like I had hit a ceiling with control and consistency. This one didn’t magically turn me into a different player, but it immediately felt more “forgiving” in a way that made longer rallies and softer shots easier to trust. The first thing I noticed was the feel off the face. It has a plush, slightly muted response that takes some of the harshness out of mis-hits, especially around the edges. Dinks and third shot drops come off cleaner, and I don’t feel like the ball is springing away from me when I’m trying to keep things soft at the net. The textured surface definitely helps with spin too. I’m not suddenly painting lines, but I can shape the ball more than I could with my old smooth paddle. The weight and balance feel just right for me. Light enough to stay quick in hand battles, but not so light that it feels hollow or unstable on drives. The grip is comfortable out of the box, and I like the longer handle for the occasional two-handed backhand without feeling cramped. One small thing I’ve noticed is that the rough surface picks up dirt pretty easily if you’re playing outdoors, so I keep a paddle eraser in my bag and give it a quick swipe every so often. It takes a few seconds and brings it right back. It’s not cheap, and I probably wouldn’t have bought it at full price without thinking about it for a while. That said, after a few weeks of play, I get why people stick with this one. It feels like a real step up from entry-level gear without being so “poppy” or aggressive that it changes how you naturally play. I would recommend this paddle for the intermediate player, someone who has moved past the beginner stage and is looking for a quality paddle without an enormous price tag. It has a similar design to some of the more high-end Joolas but with a fun feel!! Pretty decent spin, average power, and a middle of the road sizing that will suit most players ' needs. Gotta say, I’m a newbie to the Pickleball world, but I’ve played tennis and racquetball growing up, even a little badminton at family get togethers, so while I may not have the ultimate amount of specific expertise here, here’s what I do know: This is a spectacular piece of equipment. No holds barred. Let me just focus firstly on the grip, because I’ve had to re-cover my tennis racket grips over the years, and none of them have EVER felt this good, even the brand new ones. I don’t even fully understand the material, to be honest, but it feels fantastic in my palm. It doesn’t feel like it’s going to slip, or become irritating, or get gross and sticky over time. I can’t guarantee that so soon, of course, but still, I’m feeling good about it just based on the material of other racket grips I’ve felt. Secondly, the weight of this thing is light as a feather, but doesn’t feel fragile. That’s an incredible feat. Thirdly, the actual surface of the paddle - it’s grippy, like I know it should be, but without even knowing it was supposed to be, I could tell right away that this was meant for those big plastic Swiss Cheese lookin’ balls, and I wouldn’t have guessed that any old Pickleball Paddle would have that type of surface texture. Turns out, I’m correct - maybe most have some sort of slight texturing, *maybe*, but then I remembered that this paddle is specifically notated to be made “for Spin”, and it suddenly made perfect sense. I’m so excited to get this thing out onto a court, y’all. Lastly, I’ll make a quick note about the design, because, I mean, just look at this thing! It’s a beauty. I’m loving the gentle ombre from the vivid yellow into the regal purple around the edging. The logo on the surface just. looks. cool. And finally (for real this time), the NFC tag on the thing is just fun. I’m sad to say that my phone seemingly isn’t able to get it to work right now, but that’s apparently some sort of known iPhone 16 glitch, which doesn’t seem to have been updated as of yet, but I’ll keep an eye out for it to work soon. Still, very cool way to verify authenticity and access an account. I’d never heard of Joola before I got this paddle, but I’m excited to keep them in my eyesight when it comes to shopping for paddle-related athletics, and particularly for table tennis, which is a top favorite for my partner! ... show more
