I found these on another site for much more money -- the value here for two is amazing. They arrived well packaged--oddly with minimal packaging but boxed perfectly--with no issues, and were very easy to assemble--just added the harp and put in the light bulb that was included. I will join other reviewers in the opinion that these lamps are a pretty good deal for the price. The texture is tightly woven and adds a lot of interest. The shape and size are a good choice for large bedside tables or a sideboard. The shade is a nice neutral color. I’m using them in a modern farmhouse bedroom but they would work well in other home designs such as coastal, cottage and traditional. They are a little more lightweight than I expected but heavy enough that I don’t think there will be any issues at all with tipping or knocking them over. As with many lamps the shade needs to be fussed with a bit to get it nice and level once the finial is screwed on. One is better than the other. More expensive lamps don’t seem to have this issue as much, in my experience, as they are more solid. Overall I am happy with these lamps. Pro tip- don’t be tempted to save the $30 and buy from the Amazon Warehouse. The box was a disaster and one of the shades was crushed. It’s obvious that they use the same box over and over and the soft cardboard is held together with loads of tape. After returning that mess I bought them new and I’m glad I did. ... show more

So glad I bought these! They are sturdy, quality lamps. No odor detected. No assembly except to put shade on and screw on the finial. Pricing is refreshing after looking for quite a while for coastal lights for our Florida place.
