    • Legs rotate. Otherwise it's supportive yet flexible

Take note that the mounting piece is screwed in to the legs rather than welded - this allows rotation and flexibility unless you weld or glue it down. First off, I put 7 of these on an L-desk constructed of leftover materials. The bottom of my table is MDF and the top is hardwood. The top of these legs connect to the mounting bracket use a screw and lock washer. Due to this design, the legs can not only rotate, but they can also flex. Initially, I found this annoying... but the flexibility actually worked out for me. Shortly after installing this, I had a mattress topple over and slam against the legs. Since the bottom of my table is MDF, the heavy mattress would've ripped the legs out. Instead, the leg just flex against that lock washer... basically supporting the table after the bottom was displaced 2-3 inches. Other than that, these were the cheapest 24" legs I could buy to support my L-desk. 28" is too high for most people when everything is ergonomically adjusted.. in my opinion. ... show more

The installation of these legs requires the leg to be bolted to a plate and then that plate is screwed to the table. After installation, I realized an adjustment was necessary and had to remove the plate from the table in order to adjust the leg and reattach it to see if it was correct. This could have been made easier if the design allowed the plate to be attached to the table and then attach the leg to the plate. ... show more

Followed other reviewers, bolted with washer through mounting bracket into leg. Tightened to a wicked strong torque with a power drill. TL,DR: Don't trust this product to slide across a surface well, especially with weight greater that 50Lbs by my estimates. I'd expect this product will work great for users who can mount bracket to leg as described above, and whose material and span is reasonable, and can place whatever it's mounted to carefully, with help if necessary. My build prior to trying to resolve issue with horizontal bracing, 3 2x12x8 boards laid said by side, joined with several metal brackets where boards meet. Problem I'm experiencing is that, when the leg is dragged across a surface, the leg catches and pitches in a direction, and, I'm assuming, the locking washer and bolt slip off of their thread, causing plate and bracket to become loose. When I detach a leg after this problem, bolt is finger tight, not torqued as well as I had screwed it on before attaching leg and plate to underside of table top. I may buy screws and washers to try and bolt through the table top, circumventing my problem or at least allowing for easier retightening of screw. I'd seek a refund, but I damaged the product by attaching horizontal supports as pictured. ... show more

This is a solid product! I measured incorrectly and need to return for a longer length but am ordering through the same company! These were super easy to install, the quality is great and the adjustable feature is subtle enough that my desk will look seamless.
