Description

Modern and eye catching, this chic table lamp features an resin base in mixed shades of white and gray to create the effect of marble, but without the inconsistencies inherent in natural stone. This finish, coupled with the geometric faceted pyramid silhouette, evokes a modern interpretation of a neoclassical design. I went outside to get the package. We had heavy winds and I hoped it was still there! Once open and out of the box what a surprise. The lamp shade was the first thing we noticed. There was a large styrofoam block holding the lamp base. There was a large sign on a cardboard piece that reminded us of parts enclosed and not to throw anything away until all parts were found and put together. There were red plastic bags that were tied with real red ribbons holding the finial & harp parts. There was an LED bulb that is supposed to last for years and cost little to use. It looked special in the pictures on your website, but the real thing is even more special. The Jonathan Y company really seems to care about its products and passes that love along to its customers. Very nice lamp. I wouldn't mind if it was a little brighter. I read another reviewer's comments about how many messy foam pieces there were inside the box, and I thought that was a stupid thing to comment on. However, now that I've seen what he means, yikes! I have never seen so many tiny little foam pieces. They stick to you and the floor and the carpet and the lamp.... Have your vacuum cleaner ready when you open up this lamp. ... show more

As someone who used to be a lamp buyer it is hard for me to spend the money. I knew what I was looking for and this was it. It didn't have the bulb included as it said it did but that was taken care of. My ONLY complaint is the cord could be a tad longer

After searching for the "perfect" lamp, I bought two of these beauties for my bedroom to match the new decor I've been putting together. Despite what others are saying, the shade is a true WHITE - just maybe not as cool-toned as they might like, but they're NOT off-white or beige looking. The lamp is not too big, not too small. While the bulbs are ok, I bought daylight bulbs to get that "blue light" look. I also reached out to the manufacturer to see if they sold different shaped lamp shades to which they said "no" but I do think they should consider it for those of us who would switch up the look. ... show more

I love Jonathan JYL lamps, and bought several when I remodeled my home. Unfortunately, one of the beautiful clear glass ones was knocked off the table on Day Two and didn't fare as well with the new hardwood floors as with the old carpet. I bought this to replace it and was skeptical about the resin, but it has some heft to it and looks like marble (but doesn't break!) The little bulbs are a plus and give more light than you'd think from their size. ... show more
