I am Hispanic and have thick, long hair. This has been the best conditioner I have used. My hair is noticeably less frizzy and I often get compliments that my hair smells good. It also lasted me a while. I used it for about 4 months before repurchasing.

This conditioner smells great, however it is too thick for both the pump and to lather into hair. I have to add a little water to dilute it and make it easier to apply to my hair, but that also means losing clumps of the conditioner down the drain in the process. I’d like to always be incredibly honest about hair products cause whenever I buy something for my hair I analyse each review so intently. So here is mine, about the Shea Moisture Curl and Shine Conditioner. I have long, thick, wavy hair so the ingredients such as shea butter and coconut oil is perfect for moisturising my dry ends. It doesn’t weigh down my hair (I avoid using it on my roots). I’ve repurchased this item about 3 times now, so yeah I love this product. However I do not like the packaging, the cap is does not always allow the thick product to come through. If you have thin or short hair, I would recommend looking at other conditioners as this one is meant for coarse, coils, curls or thick hair. ... show more
