I’m in my 30s and I never have issues taking big pills but these are the biggest pills I’ve ever seen in my life. I want to love them so much because Nordic naturals is my absolute favorite brand. I take their fish oil every single day, and so does my children. But every morning that I take this pill, I seriously feel like I’m going to choke and that it’s going to get stuck in my throat.     • high quality, more easily absorbed ingredients. more B12 than most multivitamins.
This is a well known, high quality brand, so I was thrilled to try these. I already take their vegan algae Omega-3's everyday. Multivitamins are all slightly different in what they provide - this one has much more B12 , which I appreciate as a vegetarian. B12 mostly comes from animal derived foods, and apparently it's hard to get enough everyday by eating only eggs / dairy, so most vegetarians and all vegans will need a supplement. I used to think taking much more than 100% DV of anything was ridiculous until my doctor told me I should be taking at least 1000mcg of B12 a day (which is something insane like ~41,000%). This has 100mcg of B12 (~4,000%), which is a major step up from most other women's multivitamins that tend to contain only 250-500%. So this may be enough for many people who aren't too deficient. It's a water soluble vitamin, and there are pills sold with as much as 5000 mcg (!!!!!!!), so only 100mcg isn't worrying for everyday. The other impressive thing about these vitamins is that they contain better absorbed versions of each vitamin, such as methylcobalamin instead of cyanocobalamin for the B12, so they are potentially more effective. They provide extremely detailed info on each actual ingredient, so you can do the "research" yourself. No mysteries here! They do smell odd (they're vitamins!), but there's no aftertaste. They smell a bit like ginger, which they do contain. They are somewhat large tablets, which may bother some people, but are fine for me. Definitely recommend. ... show more

My doctor recommended I begin taking vitamins especially for women, as I had a vitamin deficiency show up during a blood draw. This seems to work, vitamins are healthy for you, so it makes me happy. I would order again. Item is as described on Amazon.

Women’s multivitamins are formulated slightly differently than men’s in that they often contain iron. Nordic Naturals contains 8mg of iron, so while taking this multivitamin, I cut back my daily iron supplement dose in half. The majority of the other vitamins and minerals contained in this formula are at 100% or more of the RDA. The non GMO vegetarian USA brand is third party tested for purity and quality. Their website and product transparency QR code and 800 number is listed on the packaging. The tablets are kind of large and not as easy to swallow as capsules, but at least you only need 1 a day. The price per bottle is not bad either, especially if you opt for the subscription rate. ... show more

I love this product brand in general but this pill is awful. I have no problem swallowing pills and love their Omega and other ones I take of theirs but this pill I just can't swallow. I've choked a few times trying to swallow it and now I just gave up trying. It sucks bc I wasted money.

I really wanted to love this multivitamin, because I have used other products by this brand with great success. The formula is really well thought out, comprehensive, containing all important vitamins and minerals, The levels of each are not excessive, maybe with the exception of the vitamin B12. That said, even though I usually have no problem with the size of the pills, these turned out to be too large for me to swallow comfortably. I had hiatal hernia surgery, and it's hard for me to swallow anything large, since the top of my stomach is stitched tight. I tried cutting these in half -- which is possible, since they're just big pressed pills -- but even then they were hard for me to swallow, and once cut, they give a bit of an unpleasant taste. I love everything they contain, and it's a great idea, just not for me. ... show more
