Delivery was fast. Product was in nice packaging and came with mounting screws. Wish the head were larger and length were shorter. The wrong screw made it tough to get in on the first try. I found the screws that came with my mobo and it went in well. The drive was picked up by my bios and I installed my OS. It's been running great for several days now. I bought two of these at the lowest price I've ever seen for such a product. It's not the top of line but for basic PC use around the house, I save often to my thumb drive. I could have gotten by with the smaller drive for a little more I splurged. Short of a system failure I think this will get the job done very fast. It beats spinning metal for speed, hands down.

I use this to backup one of my 256 GB laptops and it backed up in like under 15 minutes it was a breeze and the actual drive itself is very light weight and its story I highly recommend it I have no complaints

This drive performs a lot better than I thought it would. The read/writes won't beat a high end Samsung drive but it also cost a lot less. You can't beat the price per GB and it will beat your old HDD hand down. So far,so good after several months as a game drive. Since it's an off brand I don't put anything important on it but as a game drive it's perfect.

10/24/23: Got a replacement (new one) from Joiot after contacting through this Amazon website (no response thru 2 emails that I sent). Format the new one. Copy about 100GB of files as done before. Seem OK... Hope it last more than 4 months this time... Thank you for standing behind your warranty (18 months? I guess).... ------------------------------ 10/2/23: Four months later, it is dead. Before this happens, in July, files under NTFS format got some kinds of error, then PC would freeze. Take out drive, put it back, then freeze and give out errors. Format everything under exFAT, seem ok and working.... then today get some types of errors, like cannot read the files... Now format whole thing again today under NTFS, try to copy files, get error, then the drive disappears from Windows... Try reboot PC couple times, still not see the drive... Well, it is dead now... Lost $20... BTW, I have around 20 drives for over 30 years, never had problems like this... Contact Joiot through Amazon about warranty, they answer back and promise to send me a new one... ------------------------------ 5/15/23: When copying about 140GB of mixed data from old SSD drive, speed varies from 5MB/sec for windows, office, visio, adobe programs files, to 200MB/sec for picture files and up to 340MB/sec for video files. Overall, speed is decent... Price is the cheapest one (under $20 for 512GB) I could find on Amazon on this date... Reliability is still unknown... So far using as a backup for those files seems ok...
