  • Interesting experience so far.
I'll preface my review by saying I was leaning towards the Theragun after being introduced to percussion massage guns recently. I ended up purchasing the v2 after reading up on massage guns on Amazon. Amazon didn't have the big names like Theragun (not during time of purchase), Kraft, TimTam, or Hypervolt. I did not want to buy a cheap Chinese knockoff and double checked numerous guns for the right one. I made sure that the seller had a website, social media presence, and correct grammar and spelling. I narrowed down my choices to the Jawku, Sonic X, and the Vybe Premium massage guns. They all have the same 15 degree handle, but the Jawku had the longer stroke length out of the three. It's definitely not the 16mm amplitude that you get with the Theragun or Kraft, but it's a solid 14mm that isn't available with the others. The Jawku company also has a presence in sports, and has been seen at Olympia and running events. You don't see that from the competitors or knockoffs on Amazon. I think Jawku was the first to come out with the 15 degree handle as the others haven't been able to replicate the amplitude on their guns. The higher price for the Jawku is probably due to them being first and having the 2mm longer stroke length. I took off one star because the delivery was delayed. I've had it for 3 days, and it's a mixed bag for my review. My review will be focused on the gun's performance and not aesthetics. The 15 degree handle is definitely helpful to reach hard to reach areas like the lower back. The 2 and 3 speed seem sufficient for post workout. My legs feel rejuvenated after my deadlift and squat days, however, my calves were sore as heck after 30 second to 1 minute uses. They've been sore for the past 3 days despite using the v2 on them throughout the day. My only gripe with the v2 is that the flat head attachment keeps falling off on speeds 3+. All in all, it's a good device if you don't want to pay a premium for the Theragun, Kraft, TimTam, or Hypervolt. Would I pay $260 plus tax for this massage gun? Probably not, but it's a sound purchase for those wanting a solid percussion massage gun without breaking the bank. ... show more

  • Long battery, pretty quiet, but awkward shape
I have owned this and now a Theragun Prime. Compared to the Theragun, the battery life on this Jawku is insane - the Jawku lasts absolutely forever on one charge. I had it for two years, and I think at first it was a little quieter than the Theragun, but while the Jawku was overall pretty sturdy it did get slightly louder and a bit rattly over the time I had it. But I dropped it a few times and it didn't break. It eventually died when we accidentally plugged it into the wrong charger... whoops. The big downside to the Jawku is that it's a more awkward shape than the Theragun, and you will get tired a lot quicker from holding the Jawku at strange angles (such as to work on a knot in your own back). Overall this was a good product in my experience though. Pretty quiet, long battery life, durable enough. ... show more

  • Best muscle blaster in the market
As a professional athlete, been using the muscle blaster technology for a couple of years now. Tried all of them from the hyperice, the Thera gun and a bunch of others and this is hands down the best. The vibrations are smooth and really great for warm up and cool down. It is powerful enough at level 3/4 to reach and deal with any knots and tightness you have and 5 really takes it to the next level in terms of warm up and recovery. It’s light and very easy to maneuver around the body and the elongated stock makes it easy to grip and each the back which you can’t do with most other muscle blasters in the game. It comes with a very compact case which is very classily made and can be carried around very comfortably. The best part is though it is one of the quietest if not the quietest muscle blasters in the market and only makes a slight humming sound so you can release knots deep in the night without worrying about waking up your neighbors. It’s a must have for anyone involved in any physical activity as it will really help keep your body together and recovered. Must Buy!! ... show more

  • Buyer Beware This Product is Branded under several other names for less money
I downgraded my review stars to 4 For the following reason- I am now seeing this exact same massage gun on Amazon branded under several other names for less money, the only difference is the color of the body, all the other stats are the same including weight. Vybe Pro Premium Percussion Massager $229.00, Vi Pro Percussion Massager $219.00, Swyper Personal Massage Gun, NoCry Cordless Handheld Massage Gun $189.00. So after seeing these, I feel a bit ripped off since I paid $259.00. Original Review: I read so many online reviews and YouTube videos for hours before finally settling on this one. It has a very deep amplitude, a quite high (60lbs) stall force, 5 speed settings and is extremely quiet. It runs with a very satisfying hum. I do not know how long the battery lasts because I have only used it for a couple days. It runs fairly well in the middle of price ranges. There were many massage guns much more expensive than this one, and many that were much cheaper. I chose this for the above reasons and quite frankly because it looks cool and I love the design. It has a nice angled handle and a cushiony finish that is easy to grip. It is not heavy at all for me. This sucker is powerful and goes deep into the soft tissues. If only they had made these things years ago, how have we lived without them so long? ... show more

  • Wonderful recovery tool...
The Jawku is an amazing tool. I use it for everything! Before my workouts to warm up and get the blood flowing, after my workouts to reduce lactic acid, after a long day at work sitting in a chair and my lower back hurts, I even use if on my dog to help with his hip issues. Battery is fantastic, I may charge it once a week. The attachments that come with it are well made and all have a unique purpose. I really love the hard case that it comes in as well. The Jawku is well made and in my opinion out performs the hypervolt and its less expensive. Dont hesitate to invest in this massager. ... show more
