I really love how smoothly this eyeliner glides on. The skin around the eyes is so delicate, and I appreciate not having to tug or drag the pencil across it just to get the color down. It’s creamy enough that I have time to smudge it while I’m applying it, which makes creating a smoky eye so easy. I can blend and soften the edges exactly how I want before it sets. Once it does set, though, it stays put. That combination is exactly what I want in an eyeliner: workable when I need it to be, then locked in when I’m finished. The pigmentation is also fantastic. You get rich color without having to keep going over the same spot. And for my cool-toned girlies, I especially love the shades. I struggled forever to find an eyeliner that I like and is waterproof but also really easy to apply and really really idiot proof. Not just that, but I didn’t think I’d ever master that look where you apply the eyeliner in the outer part of my upper lids to hook upwards to make your eyes look like they are smiling more. But because of this eyeliner I can finally do it! I think it’s because it is super creamy just like they describe. I’d never used an eyeliner that is as soft and as creamy as this one. The positive difference is really amazing and I can’t believe how easy it is to apply. It just glides on. It’s so easy to draw out the top and then do the bottom lids and then connect them. It totally lasts, too. And it’s waterproof just like they promise and waterproof makeup removed takes it right off. I chose the intense black color because that’s the most flattering on me and I still believe this to be true. I’ve since ordered another because I like it so much and have deemed it my absolute favorite. I hope it stays available in this formula forever. Great value as well. ... show more

It’s a nice eyeliner when you apply it. It goes on very smooth. In my opinion. That formula was easy to smoke out and the best part is that it lasted all day. I’m like other eyeliners. It does not irritate my eyes and this color goes pretty well with green eyes. Another thing I like about it is that it kind of reflects the light and the pigmentation is very deep. I’ve been using this eyeliner for about 5-7 months now, and at this point it’s earned a permanent spot in my makeup bag. The Chocolate shade is the perfect rich brown. It’s soft enough to create that slightly smudgy, lived-in look without being harsh like black can sometimes be. What really impressed me is how well it stays put. Once it’s set, it’s not going anywhere, which is exactly what I need because I don’t have the patience to constantly check if my makeup is still behaving itself. I usually pair it with a brown wing stamp, and together they give me the perfect everyday eye look. It’s easy to apply, blends beautifully when you want it to, and somehow manages to stay put all day. I’m in my 60’s and I’m a die hard fan. My eyes water and the liner stays put. I use creamy concealer/foundation and the liner doesn’t smudge. Yes, it’s expensive but I’ve got colors that are 10 yrs old. It lasts forever.

This eyeliner is so luxe, it's like butter. Smooth going on, stays on but is still blendable. It's not remotely crumbly, a problem I've had with the comparable Clinique products. But it is dark. Very dark. Almost black, and the color has no warmth to it. Here it is in the middle between a true black and Clinique's 03 Intense Chocolate (bottom). And since it goes on so thick and buttery the color just hits a bit more intensely. A lot of this is a skill issue on my part, I'll admit, but just wanted that true color posted for others to see.
