  • A miss in my opinion.
These are nice, but it takes a lot of ice to get this thing cold enough. Not really the best buy in my opinion. I kind of knew it would be that way, but gave it a shot anyway.

Half the price of the first cold plunge I bought and way better quality, has already outlasted the more expensive option!

  • Bathtub Heaven, almost perfect
Size: XL-130Gal Color: Navy
In depth review for serious soakers. I’ll start by saying that I am a renter who has used portable bathtubs nearly every night for over six years. I have tried many brands and styles and usually go through about one tub a year. They all seem pretty similar to me in the materials used and vary mostly in their colors and dimensions. The round tubs are usually deep enough, but you have to sit cross legged, and the oval tubs fit very nicely in a standard bathtub, but they are never deep enough. I always use portable tubs in a bathtub with a long shower hose for ease of filling/draining, mostly hot soaks with the occasional ice bath. My main goal is to have a long and comfortable soak (I am 5’4” and around 250 lbs for reference) that is as deep and roomy as possible within the confines of a standard bathtub footprint. I’ll start by saying that when you are filling and draining a big tub it will obviously take longer than to fill a normal tub so plan to be busy with something else but make sure keep an eye on the tub as it is filling. I didn’t time this particular tub, but in general portable bathtubs seem to take around 20 to 30 minutes to fill with my shower hose. You do not want to fill it all the way to the top or it will overflow when you get in, for me I needed to fill it to about 6 to 10 inches below the inflatable part. Also be sure to rinse it clean and turn it upside down to drain when you are finished. OK, that covers the basics. Down to the specifics of this tub. Generally speaking, I find it to be the best tub I have tried so far although there are a few features I wish this tub had which would make it 100% perfect. Pros: Easy to assemble. Just screw legs together, insert them into the tub, and inflate the top ring. I like that the top ring is built into the tub (Separate inflatable rings are a pain, and other tubs have those annoying plastic pieces that you have to try and thread through the top ring and join together). The inflatable part is nice and soft to lean against and even comes with a small hand pump which was a thoughtful touch. I like that the legs are metal instead of plastic as they seem very sturdy, and the little caps on the end kept them from scratching my bathtub, which is always a plus (i know from experience that magic eraser and the pink stuff work great for removing those kinds of marks, but it is still a pain to deal with). Being able to unscrew the legs when needed will make the tub easier to store or transport while remaining sturdy. I find this infinitely preferable to adjustable metal legs (From a previous tub) which, although it sounds like a nice idea to be able to adjust the height of your bathtub in practice they never held the right height and I ended up having to duct tape them at a single height. Water capacity was awesome, I had plenty of room in the tub, I loved how deep it was. It was almost like having a personal hot tub, with a little bit of the floating effect you get when the water is deep enough. I did have to sort of fold/squish the bottom of the tub to fit into my standard bathtub, but that is to be expected when using a round tub in an oval/rectangular space, and is totally worth it for the extra depth. The water easily came up to my chin; I barely had to slouch to submerge my head. I was also able to fully stretch my legs out in the tub while sitting, although that would not be possible if you are taller than me because I was touching both the front and back walls. I love how long the tub was as well, it almost completely filled up my standard bathtub which is the ultimate goal. I think if it was much bigger, I would’ve run out of hot water to fill it 😆 This tub is awesome and big, if you can sit down in a standard bathtub this tub will feel roomy deep and comfortable. FYI It is very deep so you may want an anti slip stepping stool to get in and out if you are short or have struggles with balance. I was ok on tiptoes and stepping on the side of my standard bathtub with a hand on the wall, but it was a bit of a balancing act. Still a pro because I would rather have the tub be slightly harder to get into and be able to soak up to my chin 😀. Shallow bathtubs are awful! Heat retention was fine, I don’t think you would have any problems for a 30 to 60 minute bath and it would probably stay pretty warm a good while after that for really long soaks. I’m sure using the cover would increase heat retention as well, but I prefer to have freedom to move. Cons: Round shape has to squish into a standard tub. I wish that this tub came in an oval shape that was about 10 inches narrower and 6 inches longer. It would probably fit great in a square shower stall, but there is no center drain in the floor. Main Con is that the Drain could be improved. I like that it has two drains, one at the bottom front floor of the tub and one that is a few inches above it on the front wall. However, with any weight of water in the tub, the drain on the floor won’t really drain water very well because the pressure from the water in the tub doesn’t let water drain out under the tub. I wish there was a sturdy hose built in from the drain in the floor out under the front of the tub, but only one bathtub that I have tried had this very useful feature 😔 I tried to get as much water out the wall drain as possible by lifting up the back end of the tub after it stopped draining on its own, then ended up just turning it upside down to get the last of the water out. I do wish that the wall drain had a plug as well (Wall drain has a spigot and floor drain has a plug), the spigot is nice, but really only works from outside the tub, it would be nice to be able to remove a plug from the wall drain while in the tub to start it draining instead of having to get out and reach around a full bathtub to start the draining process. Smell: there was some new plastic smell as expected with this type of tub, but nothing too bad. I simply assembled the tub and left it to air out for a few hours and then gave it a good rinse before I used it and had no issues. I did not use the cover or the extended drain hose (which seemed like the standard flimsy collapsible plastic hose that comes with every portable tub) The cover is solid, no place for your head or hands to come through, it appears to be meant to maintain temperature in the tub with no one in it and seems pretty well insulated. After six years, I’m starting to think that my ideal portable bathtub does not exist, but this one comes very close. If you are looking for a portable bathtub, this seems to be the largest one currently available (I always spend hours researching tubs of various dimensions before getting a new portable bathtub, and I didn’t see any bigger than this, the longer tubs were all much shorter). First soak was lovely, I would definitely recommend. I will update this review if I have any issues during long term use. ... show more

  • Cold!🥶
Size: L-90Gal Color: Silver
Got this for my husband who loves the benefits from ice bathing. I tried it out and lasted about 10 seconds. lol. But he’s 6’1” at 215 and can sit down cross legged just fine. 90gal is perfect size. We keep it outside in the Wyoming cold and we don’t have to add any ice! Just break the layer of ice on top. Water temp stays around 30deg. Very easy to assemble. Great product. ... show more

  • No leaks!
Size: L-90Gal Color: Silver
This is the 3rd ice bath I have tried the first being a very similar design much cheaper and very thin. It ended up holding water inside the bottom layer and got very slimy after a few days. The second was a blowup ice bath that lost air after each use and leaked. I was not willing to pay the insane cost of the more popular brands so I opted for this one based on the positive reviews. This one is MUCH better, sturdier and more insulated which keeps the water cooler for longer and I love that it has a cover. This one also does not get slimy. I can keep the water in for about a week, I do add ice a couple days but keep the same water in and so far no leaks or water trapped in the bottom. So I’m happy with this one! ... show more

  • Poorly made

0/10. There was a hole where the plastic is melded together in between where the metal support poles are. Small enough to not notice. Flooded garage slowly overnight.

Easy to set up and sturdy. It states to fill to 6 inches below rim, but once you go in and submerge full body it can overflow. We have it less full so that it isn't a problem of overflowing.
