I bought this clock for my 92 year old aunt. The clock is so easy for her to see. She loves it. However, after 8 months it stopped working. Since the clock has a lifetime warranty, I contacted customer service and within a few days I received a replacement clock. I highly recommend this clock for anyone who needs a large font display as well as the security knowing if anything goes wrong the clock will be replaced.

This clock is so easy to set up. It’s has very clear numbers and letters. My 96 year old mother loves it. She says it helps so much with knowing which day it is. All her days are the same so it’s easy to lose track. She says it helps with taking her pills as well. The clock has a sound alert to remind you to take your pills, or anything you need a daily reminder. It has many helpful functions. I only use the basics for my mom at this time. It has a stand on the back to use on a table or you can hang on the wall. I like that it is bright enough to be a great night light in the bathroom, which is where we have it on the wall. The light can be adjusted as well.

The Digital Calendar Alarm Day Clock that largely displays Days of Week, digital time, Months of the year, date and year is a functional and fabulous product. It displays plenty brightness, its clear, the font Size is very extra large that I can see the display in the next room which is living room. It’s easy to read and easy to use. It was a Christmas gift for my husband, who’s always asking me,•what day is it or what time is it.” He loves everything about the Digital Calendar Day Clock. He wants one for the bedroom, so when he awakes, he said that I want to see the time and the day of the week. The clock is displayed in the family room, and he loves the largeness of the displayed font size. He doesn’t need his eyeglasses to read the Calendar Clock. He’s a happy camper. We both love the design concept. The brightness erves as a night light when lights are out. As a former educator, this wonderful device can be used for Preschoolers, PreK to First graders and children of special needs to teach the basic fundamentals of the Calendar. For examples, to teach the concept of time, Days of the week, months of the year, Telling time, number sense and many more various concepts. My neighbor has a kindergartner who doing visual learning and this Digital Calendar Day clock will be an asset to mom and daughter in teaching the calendar, telling time and much more. These are good, informative, and highly visible clocks. Have ordered several. Unfortunately the last clock failed rather quickly. It happens. BUT, the customer service I received was outstanding ( from the supplier / manufacturer (?), NOT AMAZON ). Hard to find these days. They were responsive to my emails, no questions asked, no hassles. This wonderful Day/Date clock was so helpful, I’m compelled to write a review. I purchased this clock for my parents. My Mom has dementia and my Dad was weary from the continual questions from my Mom, “what day is it”, “what time is it”. My sister bought them an Alexa, but my Mom couldn’t remember how to engage Alexa, even after my sister out a big note with “Alexa” written on it. The day/date clock has been PERFECT. It is the right size, bright and easy to read. It was so simple to operate- you plug it in, it works! Adjusting the time zone was so easy, and it had the correct day & date from the moment it was turned on. My Dad was even more pleased than my Mom. That simple little clock has made a HUGE difference for my Mom, she knows the day, date & time, it has reduced her anxiety and helped provide daily structure, which helps her memory. My Dad is delighted to have conversations that don’t devolve into confusion. Not kidding, this clock made that big a difference. I bought a second clock for my parents to put in their bedroom. They are so pleased. If you’re considering purchasing a day/date clock, this one should be your first choice. Small, lightweight, bright, simple to use and easy to read. As trite as this might sound, it was a game-changer for my parents. I’ll post a picture next time I’m over at their place. You can buy this clock with confidence.

I am getting up in years and sometimes a little forgetful. This JALL digital clock helps me to remember the time, part of the day, month, day, and date, at an instant glance. What surprised me was when the clock arrived, I took it out of the box, (Black screen), plugged in the AC-DC adapter, and all of the info on the screen was already set perfectly. Time, day, date.... everything was correct and exact. That surprised me. I got the black case version, and hung it on the wall above the Home Theater System. You have a choice of White or Yellow color print on a black background. The yellow is very pale, I just left it white. Keep in mind this clock is built like a regular LED TV screen. If you ever saw those digital picture frames where you can download pics to it and it displays the pics as singles or a slideshow. That is exactly what this clock is, except the program is a clock instead of a photo display. I only have 2 complaints about this JALL clock. 1. It has a dimmer option. The normal brightness setting is very bright. Brighter than a night light. The dimmer has 3 settings, High (Normal), medium, and low. Unfortunately, the medium and low settings only effect the times between 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. All daytime hours are full brightness with no choice. But you can set it to switch automatically to medium or low brightness at 7:00 PM, and it will automatically go back to full brightness at 7:00 AM. One of the reasons I only gave this clock only 4 stars is that I wish it had a 24 hour brightness control. The full brightness is bright enough to read by it. That is okay during the day, but if you sleep in beyond 7:00 AM, the extra brightness is a bit distracting through your eye lids. The medium setting is bright enough for all the time. I wish I could make it do that. 2. The second problem I have is that this JALL clock loses between 1 to 2 seconds everyday. That doesn't sound like a lot, but if you do the math, that can equal 1 minute per month, or 12 full minutes per year. Yes it sounds like I am being picky, but I have an 18 year old digital watch that has never lost a second. The face is scratched, one tiny segment of a day letter no longer lights up, but it keeps perfect time. I paid $14 for it 18 years ago. I only wear it when doing work these days. The point is, if Casio can make a cheap little wrist watch keep perfect time, then JALL's $40 clock should keep perfect time as well. The funny thing is as I said, it was set to perfect time when I first plugged it into the AC adapter. So it kept perfect time from the factory in China through all of the shipping and to my front door. The screen was off when I took it out of the box. The screen only operates when you connect the AC adapter. I think that is what changed the speed the clock works at. The display is a TV screen and takes more power which makes the time keeping slow down. And no it will not change automatically at Daylight Savings Time or back to EST. But it has a nice menu to change all of the settings, and it even has a little handheld remote control to make it easier. No Kidding! You can select 12 or 24 hour time. There are 5 alarms. Here was something I found a little weird. The first thing at the top of the screen is the day of the week, spelled out in full. Under the day is the part of the day. Let me explain. At 12 midnight it says, "PREDAWN". At 5:00 AM it says "MORNING". At 12 Noon it says "AFTERNOON". At 5:00 PM is says "EVENING". At 9:00 PM it says, "NIGHT". I have never had anyone tell me it was 12 o'clock PREDAWN, or 3 o'clock PREDAWN. That just seems a bit weird. I like how the clock works. It looks nice and is easy to read from across the room at a quick glance. I guess I will just have to add one minute every month for the life of the clock. At least I can use the remote from the sofa.
