    • Drill more screw holes in the longer shelves
Size: 12" Width x 60" Length
Only 6 screws for 5 foot shelf. Even 1 screw that doesn’t grab well is scary. Plus it sagged in the middle. I’d strongly recommend drilling holes in the back metal and adding more screws if you get the 5 foot version. Otherwise holds ok, but I doubt 6 screws can hold the full rated weight capacity except in ideal conditions and with a scary amount of sag. Btw I noticed 15 questions about weight capacity on every Amazon shelf except the commercial shelves like this one, because of the brain dead, holds almost nothing “floating shelf” trend. A simple work around is to buy a floating shelf with the style you like and then buy additional support brackets to hold way more weight. That’s what I’m switching to. Even so, 4 stars because still technically functional for my 50 lbs of items. ... show more

    • Dented, missing parts, what a mess
How could buying a $40 shelf be so challenging? This shelf was the perfect size and dimensions for several of our waist level displays in our shop. We initially purchase one to test quality and planned to by 11 more. The initial shelf came short of parts and hardware. We contacted the company, and the sent the parts out. When we received the parts a week later the contractor attempted to mount it and realized it was noticeably dented on the top, unfortunately where the customers would see it. Ugh. We’ll have to search for another as this one is headed for the return pile. ... show more
