I purchased this clock for my 89 year old mother and she absolutely loved it!! She was constantly forgetting the days of the week, as well as the date. She would constantly ask me what the date was. I tried a monthly paper calendar, but that had to be constantly crossed off and she would forget to do it, so that didn't work out. Therefore, I searched for something that would keep her on track. The numbers are big enough to see from across the room. It also acts as a night light (set at the brightest setting, which was her preference) because she uses a walker, and when she gets up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom, she does not have to put the light on. Another feature is the medication reminder alarm I set for her. It has several different alarms you can customize. The alarm goes off by itself without manually being shut off. This clock has become a nice conversation piece when she talks on the phone with her friends. She tells them "I got this beautiful clock, that tells me the date, day of the week, and the time because I was constantly forgetting." After hearing this, they said they need one too. Now when she wakes up from a nap in the afternoon, she doesn't get confused about it being day or night because it states morning, afternoon, or night. Which automatically set itself when plugged in. Works for my elderly mom who has begun to confuse day/night. Keeping proper time, alarms are fiddly to set up. No issues with it yet.

I like this thing; it mainly works as advertised. Have had no serious issues. It will keep track of time, date, etc. during power failures but screen will be blank. So far, haven't had to reset it after the power comes back on, but think the power being off causes accuracy issues. So far after several months and several power failures, it has lost about 2 minutes. Main thing I don't like about it is the last line of the display (month, day, year) is too small. When you need to give medications, and itโ€™s more efficient to put pills in daily pill holders for a week, this clock is essential. It keeps your customers on track to NOT over medicated or miss. Simple solutions work best and thatโ€™s what this is. Itโ€™s large enough to see from 20โ€™ away. You obviously can see the time farther because the numbers are larger, but you need to be able to tell what DAY OF THE WEEK it is. That matches up with the pill container for the patients. TERRIBLE The cord is way too short, so it cannot be hung up on the wall high enough. Then, after about 4 months, it just stopped working, reading the wrong date and time. Unable to open to replace battery. Itโ€™s a piece of junk.
