i love this lamp! i got it for crocheting, embroidery, puzzles, as the lighting in my home is lovely and moody, not bright and harsh, but that can make crafts and hobbies a bit more tricky. this is perfect! the necks are sturdy and can bend anywhere you need them to, they stay exactly where i put them, even when one of my dogs gets curious and bumps them with his snoot. having two necks is incredibly convenient, because i can get the light precisely where i need it from multiple directions. i love that the brightness is adjustable, so i can choose exactly what i need, and the three different color tone options are great too! i just use the mixed "daylight" option so far, but i live having that option so much more than if i was stuck with a light that was only warm or only cool instead. i am sure i will use the other light tones at some point as well. extremely happy with this purchase, the light is exactly everything i needed! ... show more

Works great. Long for putting on the edge of a long desk. It’s clip on and the clip is small so it flops when adjusting. The grip is not great. It would be perfect to clip on something over your head and project down. Bright light.

I was finally able to order one of these lamps because the clamp was big enough to fit on my headboard. I can place this directly above my head & saturate myself in light. It's glorious to have enough light to read in bed. Love it!

- the biggest problem i have is the fragility of the lights. both have snapped while i was positioning them, leaving the lights dangling from the necks. the plastic that holds the lights onto and necks is very thin. they snapped easily without being forceful. the clip isn't very strong and unclipped frequently when i'd position the lights, making it a bit difficult. i loved the versatility of having 2 gooseneck lights, allowing me to get good angles while drawing and painting, but they did not last. - i was disappointed in the brightness of the lamp. the warm and cool light settings are especially dim. the cord is fairly short and the control buttons are at an awkward spot. - overall, not worth throwing away the $20. ... show more

It's just what I needed for my cross-stitching! I have it attached to the stand next to my stitching chair, and it swings over my chair so that it lights up much hoop for stitching.
