This garbage pale is a bit too small for me. Advantages: fits under the sink, and has to be emptied regularly, disadvantage it has to be emptied regularly. The fits extremely tightly but it is hard to get into place because of this. Often the lid slips into the pail, which of course makes it not at all touchless. I bought this bin because we had a problem with sugar ants this summer, and I was hoping for a pest-proof bin, as this was advertised. It's very nice to have a filter, I suppose, but the holes allow small insects like ants to get through very easily. In addition, I didn't pay close attention to the need for renewing the filter, etc., which makes this bin less than eco-friendly. It was also packaged so that it arrived with a big dent on the side.
