Very pleased with quality & sturdiness. Arrived 5 days early & complete set is in 1 large flat box. My adult son was able to put the table & chairs together by himself in 2 hours. The table surface can be folded open & locks into position...or folded in half on its hinges, & then rotated to form the smaller size table. (The surface is double thickness in this position - but does not impact your thighs when sitting at the table because it folds over its original height surface.) We chose this table for this 2 size option, also that it could fit heightwise under the counter height lip of our peninsula in the kitchen. Additionally we wanted padded seats, & were pleased that it accomodates up to 330 lb per chair. (Other sets on Amazon often only support up to 200 lb.) The seats are sturdy because of their cross-bars at their base, but are very lightweight so you can lift them with one hand. The seats are very comfortable to sit on at the table. Easy to assemble with included tools, and well illustrated instructions. Our table surface has a nice wood pattern & it matches its pattern on the opposite hinged side. (The hinged part is already installed, but you must attach the rotating bracket.) Attractive & very nicely made. Highly recommend. ... show more

This table and chair set are great. Customer service with this company is Excellent. I had a screw push through the back and a blemish on the table, and they sent me a whole new dining table set to correct the two blemishes. Table is sturdy and chair are comfortable. It works well for a table.
