The media could not be loaded. I have experience with four different brands of Robot Vacuums and this is by far the best... and the most expensive. But you can see the quality as soon as you open the box. There are a couple manuals inside but they say nothing about operating the robot. They are full of safety and warranty info. The start-up instructions are actually on one of the pieces of packing cardboard. They are very brief and get you to the all important QR code. I'm not big on downloading apps and had to go through the usual create an account, get an email with a secret code, click here, click there etc etc but just stay with it. Because you really do need to download the app to get the most use out of this I-Robot Roomba. There are a lot of nice features with this robot that other robot vacuums don't have. One is increased suction. You can hear the difference. And it's bigger. There is also LIDAR on the top and I notice right away it doesn't bump into things near as much. And the mapping was amazing. In less than 30 minutes it mapped the rooms where it is to do it's business. The most accurate mapping I've seen from one of these robots. I like the fact that I can set up an everyday schedule in the app and forget about it. I just need to keep it cleaned out every double days. There is a cleaning brush and cutter built right into the unit which comes in handy when cleaning. The brush is used for brushing out dust and cleaning the filter. The cutter comes in handy to cut the strands of material that may get tangled. In one of my photos you can see the dust bin is full after just one run through it's routine. Yes, we have 2 dogs and 2 cats but we have also been using another robot vacuum so you can see the i-Robot did a really good job picking up dust and hair. ... show more

    • Great lil guy for flat flooring and tiles only, did not like going up my carpets/rugs as much
In my house it goes from carpet to tile - back to carpet and than to tile again across the main area. Sadly this lil guy had problems getting onto my rugs or leaving tile to the carpet areas. It does have a lot of features which is very nice and some even personalize it for your liking. After an ok showing at my house, i took it over to my GF's house to try. It faired much better over there with flatter flooring, although the dog hair made it crumble pretty quick and needed cleaning. Battery also did not last that long and took 3 charges before going through 1600 sqft of my house on standard cleaning mode. Definitely still a good product that i will continue to use for many years, but i will let you know if it stands the test of time. ... show more

Installing and configuring the app was easy and fast to do, the instructions are simple to follow. It speaks to you when you start/stop it or make changes. You can't change voice that it speaks in, but can change language or accent, that is pretty nifty. Mine is now a british woman. You can also set a name for it in the name, that's a bit of fun too!. It was able to drive around my house and map it out. You can view the map and have it go again if it missed anything. Any objects blocking its path during mapping will not get mapped, thus wont get vacuumed when you set it to start. When we set it to vacuum after mapping, it worked well enough! You can stop it at any point and tell it to go back to its charging base, and it will do just that! Very cool, saves me a whole chore each week! ... show more

I’m absolutely thrilled with the iRobot Roomba 104! This vacuum has exceeded all my expectations. It’s powerful, quiet, and incredibly smart. The suction is strong enough to pick up pet hair, crumbs, and dust in one pass, and it transitions seamlessly between carpet and hard floors. The mapping and navigation system is impressive — it learns the layout of my home quickly and cleans in neat, efficient rows. I especially love the app control, which lets me schedule cleanings and even target specific rooms. It’s like having a personal cleaning assistant that never misses a spot! Maintenance is minimal thanks to the self-emptying feature, and the battery life easily covers my entire house in one go. If you’re looking for a reliable, high-performance robot vacuum, the Roomba 104 is worth every penny. Finally, I would note that, more or less, this is an entry level robot vacuum. This model is a huge upgrade from my roomba j7s. I’m still using the j7s on the first floor, which is huge space and the j7s works fine there. However, I’ve been putting off getting a roomba for the second floor because I was afraid it wouldn’t work well for a smaller space with lots of obstacles. I’m glad to find out that this model is built lots of improvements for small space in mind. The docking station is a lot so smaller and easier to charge than previous model. The roomba itself can navigate more efficiently and can go up the bump much better than previous model. I also love that I don’t need a screw driver to install the spin brush. I also like that the docking station has a built in cord organizer and there’s an included brush in the dust bin. I can also see the where the roomba is on the map. The only complain is that I have to install new roomba app for this one instead of using the existing app. All is good so far but I have yet to see how it perform on the long run. ... show more
