I wish I ordered this years ago!!! It fits an entire bag (large) of dog food, with a bit of room to spare! The seal has held up just fine. We even had a bit of an ant issue in our closet where we store this, and not a single ant bothered the container. I was shocked!! I would assume the food stays fresh- more so if I were to leave it in the bag, opened. The wheels are a lovely feature, making it so simple to roll in and out of the closet. The latch is not as strong as it could be. My toddler is able to open and close it when she helps feed the dog. It’s not a problem for us but worth mentioning if you have need for a stronger locking system. Overall 10/10. This container is discrete and does its job! ... show more

I wanted a container for my cat litter,something that was neat and on wheels.I wasn't sure if it would hold 40 lbs of litter but I was wrong for sure,this thing will hold at least 60 lbs.I had a little bit left over from a previous bag at the bottom and it took a new 40 lb bag easily.

    • Useful storage container with fixable flaws

If I had saved the delivery box I would have quickly returned the container before assembling it. My concern is the hinge at the back of the lid. It is definitely the weak point of the product. The hinge consists of only two short, thin plastic pins that snap into two thin plastic half-circle cut-outs that are part of the body of the container. Although the manufacturer says the lid latch in front will weaken and fail over time, the hinge itself does not stay attached without pushing it on each time it is used. I'm convinced the hinge will not only fail before the latch, but soon. The lid has a silicone gasket that takes a little hand pressure and patience to push into place to seal the lid to the container. The lid must first be centered in place on the container. I think this will take less pressure to accomplish after the gasket is used more than a few times and softens into shape. I am happy about the size of the container because I store pet food in the bags it is sold in. I can easily keep at least three@ 3 1/2 lb bags on hand in the container, laid flat, perhaps four. That will allow me more pantry shelf space. After a bag has been opened, I close it with a chip clip so the food stays fresh. Then I return the bag to the storage container on top of the unopened bags. The included scoop that can be stored on the under side of the lid is handy, but way too big for my pet's food portions. I'll keep it stored under the lid until I can think of another use for it. I like the four wheels that simply popped into the recesses in the bottom of the storage container. I simply tapped them evenly, gently, repeatedly with the heel of my hand until they snapped into place. This was no bother and it did not hurt my hand or the container itself. I think the wheels are a sure thing for durability on the container. They do help me easily move the container to my pet's feeding station. If (when} the snap-in hinge pins fail, I intend to drill small holes into both the lid and the back of the storage container. I'll use cable ties to keep the lid loosely in place. I am sure I'll come up with a similar solution for the front latch when (if) the latch fails. I don't like to throw away items that can be fixed for a small amount of time and money. All in all, I think I'll be using the wheeled storage container with lid for years to come. It could also be useful for other storage needs than pet food, so perhaps I'll buy more of them. I'lI find a way to live with the the minor manufacturing flaws. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I wouldn’t recommend to stack anything *heavy* on top of the lid. Love the wheels but had a very hard time with 1 wheel not pushing in all the way. It matches my decor. It’s not see thru. I used it just now for a 33 pound bag of dog food so I can’t determine airtightness. The material for the container is not sturdy enough for me. It fell over when I tried to put the bag in it. I had to prop it against something heavy for it to stay put. The bag and her cup fit inside the container. I was able to fit the lid on it without any problems and it’s easily removed Buffon the rear. The lock isn’t arthritis friendly. You know it’s closed when it clicks. ... show more

    • Quality is not what I expected

I have mixed feelings on this one. If I was able to physically see, touch, inspect this in a store before purchase, I probably wouldn't have bought it at this price point. The design of the back side of the lid isn't good, in my opinion. The lid snaps on in two places, which form the "hinges." We finally got the two pieces to snap together, but it took two people and a whole lot of muscle to get one of the little 1-inch hooks snapped over the plastic "dowel" that formed one of the hinges. The mouth of the hooked section isn't deep or wide, so I would not be surprised if the lid pops apart from the base. Time will tell... There is a protruding ledge or lip coming out the back of the lid that rests on the back edge of the base when the lid is closed. I'm not sure what the purpose of this is, but when opening the lid you can feel the resistance from the lip pushing against the edge of the base. Maybe that lip is supposed to keep the lid from opening too far...not sure? The inner seal around the lid seems to be fine, and the latch works well. I didn't put the wheels on, so I can't comment on how well they insert or hold up. The scoop that came with the container is pictured to fit into a slot on the underside of the lid for storage (as shown in the video in the description), but that is impossible since the scoop is much larger than the slot it's supposed to slide into. It's not a big deal, but if you're going to advertise it as something, then it should do that something. I don't think the description mentioned the thickness of the plastic that it's made out of, but my impression is that it's a fairly light'ish plastic. However, I don't see any issues with it not being strong enough to store my dog food since I'm not moving the container around. I have a 30-lb bag of dog food in the container (supposed to hold up to 54-lbs) and there's no bulging of the sides or anything like that. **All in all, I like the idea but after receiving the product, I don't think it's worth the price (just my opinions). ... show more
