So this cover is nice to help us keep the sun and other elements from just totally beating down on it while it's outside. We do get quite a bit of high wind where we live, so it looks like I'll likely need to supplement the cover with some bricks or something to keep it attached, but otherwise I'm happy to recommend.

We purchased a heavy duty custom fit cover with our John Deere D140 riding mower a decade ago, and it was nearing the end of its life. This cover was intended to be placed over the worn out cover as an extra layer of protection. The cover comes in a handy zippered storage pouch. The material of the cover is not a thick canvas material, but is rather more like a thick tent material. While thinner than canvas or tarp material, it is woven tightly and very strong. The silver PU coating on the inside makes the cover water resistant and UV resistant. The seams are double stitched. When I first opened the cover, I was surprised by how large it was. This cover will fit very large mowers with ease or really any large equipment with a generally rectangular shape. Initially I thought it was going to be too large for our John Deere D140 mower, but after placing the cover over the mower, the drawstring tightened the cover and it conformed to the shape of the mower. This is obviously a general purpose mower cover and won’t be a tailored fit like a custom cover, but it conforms well with the drawstring and will not blow off in wind. I will update this review at the end of the mowing season to provide a long term review of its durability and water resistance.

Doesn't come close to fitting the Lawnmower which it says it does in the description. It fits really big and the rope cinch doesn't tighten enough. If there is any wind it blows off. The material does feel sturdy though.

This is a nice light cover that is big enough to fix most standard riding mowers but you may want to double check the sizing around the bag chute and grass catch as it barely fit on my older Craftman Mower that has a wide rear resign. I was hoping for a thicker fabric to help weather the elements of our severe Sierra Nevada weather, but only time will tell if this fabric will be resilient enough to not crack under the cold freezes. I plan to keep it and use it to protect during regular weather, as it is quick and convenient to pull on and off; then use my existing heavy waxed canvas tarp to protect over it when Jack Frost shows up in the winter.

The media could not be loaded. Riding lawn mower cover Vine review. Brand: SDHDUYHD. The 2nd of 3 covers I am reviewing this week. It’s not hard to look at the lawn mower covers here on Amazon and see this is competitively priced for the 420D covers of this size. But you might find some tougher 600D covers at this price also. See my 10 second high pressure water test video. I have a Troy-Bilt and a Craftsman, both 42” decks and Kohler engines. (Of course) And both are about 6' long. (Photos) The photos show the good fit. (My picnic table is 2” longer than most long ones, but it almost works as a cover. So you may easily find other uses.) What you have to know is that this drawstring Wins against cover #3, which only provides a single strap, under the middle, which clearly requires more work to secure the corners! With this cord under the tires and the deck, pulling it tight secures the cover under the 4 tires and the deck in one motion. You can’t beat that. Then the excess cord can be tucked under to your hitch, if you got one. Making this a 5 star, even if it might be a little pricy. TPinSwUSA Vine Voice rating scale: ★ Well below expectations. And/or Listing is false. ★★ Below expectations and/or Significant listing errors or Significant problems. ★★★ Neutral - some good, some bad. Or highly priced for no known reason. ★★★★ Meets expectations. Price seemed competitive when review was written. ★★★★★ Exceeds expectations and/or the competition with Value. Unique. This thing is huge! Covers my ride on mower nicely and keeps the pollen/sawdust off of it. Shiny on the inside and a woven material on the outside, it doesnt let water through and i believe it is UV resistant. It’s thin but it does the job and the elastic around the bottom keeps it on without blowing away.
