Finally got to use this today, as a neighbor needed a jump. Until now I've been using it to charge my phone, which works marvelously. I connected the connector, put the clamps on and the light turned green right away. Turned the key and started right up. And after using, it only dented the battery life a little. Fifteen minutes and it was charged up so it should have quite a few jumps before another charge is needed. What amazed me was the speed. Normally you need to wait for the other battery to charge but this gave it the juice it needed immediately. No waiting, no revving the engine. Just connect and start.

This product arrived in great condition, and timely. I opened it right away, but didn't have to use it for a little while. Early one morning I went out to go to work and my car wouldn't start. I almost panicked and remembered I had bought this device just for this reason. I connected it to my battery and followed the very simple instructions. Immediately my car started up and I was so amazed at the ease. I was able to get my car started without having to wake a neighbor or call someone to come help me. This is FANTASTIC!!!!! I am completely impressed and will recommend it to all my family, especially my daughters. I can't say enough good about this product. Absolutely worth the investment!

What I liked: Digital readout and case. What I Do NOT Like: Twice after charging my car battery with Irihup and driving the car (which boosts the battery using the alternator) and shutting it off, the car would NOT start! Hours later I used a NextPow jumper (rated at 1500A) that started the car 3 times in a row after shut off without it even being driven. I think because of the small size, light weight and poor result, it's doubtful that Irihup is 2000A or just it's poorly designed. I'm returning it and keeping the NextPow (no case or digital readout).

If you can score these for about $20-$22, get them. I have a few without the digital display but I use these for alot more than jump starting my car. They are high-amperage batteries and will power a small car stereo for a couple of hours. You can buy the EC5 connectors and splice anything you want on the other end. I also use them to power LED headlights on my bikes.
