Well, here is a unique item. This tongue and groove router bit set has a unique feature. It comes with several shims which allow you allow you to adjust the position (slightly) of your tongue and groove to better fit the dimension (thickness) of the lumber you are working with. You can adjust the position of the cutter blades by up to 1 mm if yo use all the shims provided. That may not sound like much, but that little bit might save you a lot of sanding or planing. The cutting edges are carbide steel and they arrive plenty sharp.

I am honestly impressed how even and smooth these got my sloppy test-rides right. I used the worst wood I had laying around, one being MDF, the other some weathered construction wood. If it's not clear from the photos: These are some chunky bits. They don't fit my compact Makita router, neither would it feel safe to hold something that removes so much material. So either a bigger, or a table router with a wide enough insert.

Blades are dull enough where they rip the wood . It’s also obvious that they are not 1/4” blades . Off by a smidge. Not good if u want accuracy

A router is a great woodworking tool that when I use with a router table can accomplish many wood shaping tasks if I use the right bits and they are sharp as these are. When I work with wood I need properly sharpened high speed Router Bits that have Tungsten Carbide (TC) inserts on the wings to keep them sharp as they shape my wood, particle board or MDF. This set of router bits includes 2 1/4 inch shanked sharp TC edged 3 winged router bits specifically for doing tongue and groove routing. The seller chose to cram both of these bits into one plastic tube (P.4) which is not good as the TC is hard but brittle and subject to damage striking another bit. Note the top and bottom guide bearings which allow precise, guided cuts without marring the wood from the high router RPMs. The bearings can be removed. I can give a Limited Recommendation of 4 Stars for these Newdeli Brand 2Pcs Tongue and Groove Router Bit Set 1/4" Shank, Newdeli 3 Teeth Adjustable T-Shape Woodworking Milling Cutter for Doors, Drawers, Shelves & More. These have 1/4" shanks which is too small for the bit size and depth of cut they need to do without many shallow cuts. The small shank makes these subject to failure from shank bending and excess vibration. These really need a 1/2 inch shank. The method of packaging is substandard i.e. 2 bits this size crammed into one plastic tube. I hope you’ve found the information and my review helpful.

This tongue and groove router set worked well on a few of my DIY projects - simple projects overall but they created nice, smooth grooves in the wood. Well made with solid construction too - hardened steel body with a 1/4in shank. Work well for my needs.
