Great table! A tad on the narrow side but it works great for a one bedroom apartment! Very sturdy bases on the chairs and table. I love the glossy finish on the table and chairs too! You can see the slide mechanism for inserting the leaf of the table is very well built. Operates very smoothly. They even provide corner table protectors! Mine fell off quickly so I recommend using a different sticky tape to adhere them. Building the table is easy but works way better with two people! They even provide extra hardware if needed. Side note, if you live in a snowy place, the package for the table protects it very well from the elements too. My table was totally fine after being in the snow for some time before I took it inside! Overall, a great table for the price!

I really like how attractive this table appears, and was able to follower the instructions to assemble the table and 6 chairs ( so thankful for the numbers on the parts and the tool provided to tighten the screws). I had a problem understanding how to store the extension or leaf ( that makes the table short or long). The instructions were not very clear. After rereading the table's instructions, the table's top lock had to be lifted up to get the table's top to move (only grab the top part of the table to move the table's top & do not include the bottom part of the table. There is a space between the table's top & the bottom part of the table). I was moving the locks from from side to side which did not unlock the table's top. I hope this help others. It took me awhile to figure it out.

This table is not really meant for 6 adults. It’s long enough but the width is insane. My forarm is longer than this table and I’m a short person. It’s beautiful looking. Seems sturdy and firm. But if you want a full size table like I did then this is not it. You’ll be bumping elbows with your neighbor. You won’t have room for everyone’s plates and food in the middle. And they make you pay for shipping if you want to return the product which is insane. It was going to cost us over $400 to ship everything back. Insane. That’s where my 1 star review comes in. The company was willing to work with us but it took a lot of hoops to go through. And that’s annoying. If someone doesn’t I want your product anymore, then just let them return it and let them get their money back.?? Idk. Anyway. Small table not meant for 6 adults.

Great dining set and I like that it can extend for family or guests. Super easy to put together. Took close to 2hr to assemble alone. Having a drill definitely makes it easier but the turn wrench that comes with the table also works great. Chairs looks lopsided but once you sit on it it's flat to the ground. Good quality "wood", it's not light or hollow. Minus 1 star: One side of the back part was bent out a little too far so I couldn't screw the back piece but the other side was fine so I'm not too worry about it falling off. The seat edges are kinda sharp but some seat cushions or maybe sanding it can fix the issue.

I recently purchased this dining set, and while it has an attractive design, I encountered some significant issues. The assembly instructions were clear, but there are a lot of pieces, which can seem overwhelming at first. It took about 4-5 hours to assemble manually without professional tools. The table is practical and a great dining set for small apartments (nyc), but it’s not the most sturdy option. Unfortunately, the quality was disappointing. There were chips and crevices on the top wooden pieces of two chairs in addition to some peeling in the material. The table and chairs lack protective pads on the legs. After moving it for the first time, I noticed several scratches on my wooden floor, which was quite frustrating. To prevent further damage, I had to purchase felt pad inserts separately. On a positive note, the color and design are visually appealing. If you decide to purchase this set, inspect all components thoroughly upon delivery. The seller was responsive when I reported the defects. Overall, while this dining set is good for small spaces, the quality concerns make me hesitant to recommend it without caution.

I have a family of six and just recently bought a home with a small dining room. I wanted to buy a table that wasn’t too big but would be able to fit all of us and looked nice. I saw this dining set and took a chance since there were no reviews on it but the measurements were what I was looking for. I put it together myself, which took about 40 minutes. The table and chairs are light, but sturdy, and although it’s narrow, it fits my whole family (and we’re not small either). I’ve been using it with the leaf in it, but the leaf is easy to remove and install. The material is okay, I would say it’s a step below an IKEA table, and only time will tell how well it lasts, but for now it works well and we are all happy with it.

Update 12/19/23: with the table being held together via machine made screws, they don't sit very well and one doesn't seem to thread right. Now one leg of the table is super wobbly, barely being held to the table because it's just one one thread of the screw. Definitely cheaply made and I'm disappointed in the quality for the cost. Although the description says this table will seat 8 with the leaf in that's definitely not the case. We had to add 2 chairs we already owned just to seat 6 adults comfortably. The table is very narrow, not like a normal dining room table you would expect. This makes a right squeeze for 6 adults to eat, forget about having any serving dishes on the table. The set was pretty easy to put together and it arrived without damage. Benches are a bit uncomfortable after a while so it looks like we'll only be using this table when we absolutely have to.
