It does not need a charge but at times I just place it to get it back to 100%. The case cover in pink is gorgeous π, the feel is awesome π―, sturdy πͺπ½ and fits to perfection ππ½ even with the skin I added to my kindle for a little more protection π₯Ή. The Anker dock I absolutely love; I also own Anker battery packs etc so I am enjoying this dock and have no doubt it holds up to what it needs to do π€ Now for the kindle colorsoftβ¦. itβs everything I expected, small, very well made, super clear, I know how to navigate it so I set it up to my preference and the clarity is on point π― for day time and night time readingβ¦. auto adjusting is awesome to useβ¦. Purchased this case with a new 12th generation Kindle as a Kindle, case & charger bundle deal. Really like it. High quality, excellent fit and great appearance. Especially like the auto turn on and off feature when the case is opened & closed. Also like how the magnetic feature securely keeps the Kindle closed when handling and carrying. The magnet also keeps the front cover securely attached to the back when reading. I highly recommend this case.

Nice Case, Just Wish It Cost Less** This is a really nice case for the Kindle Paperwhite. It fits perfectly, feels well made, and does a great job protecting the device without adding much bulk. I also like how lightweight it is and that it automatically wakes and puts the Kindle to sleep when you open and close the cover. My only criticism is the price. It's more expensive than I think it should be, so I hesitated before buying it. That said, the quality is excellent, and I'm happy with how it's performed. If you can catch it on sale, it's definitely worth purchasing.

When I bought my new Kindle, I purchased a cover with all of the bells and whistles. It had a hand strap and a kickstand so I could prop it up. I was also hoping to match the jade color of my device, which is very pretty. All of that came at the price of an overly thick cover, a bad match in terms of color and a heavier device to try to hold in one hand. I have very small hands and short fingers. When the cover finally gave up the ghost, so to speak, I purchased this Amazon plant-based cover. It is an exact match to my device. It is lightweight, slim, and easy to hold. The kindle snaps in easily. The cover closes well and I like the idea of it being plant-based. All in all, it enhances the sleekness of the Signature Paperwhite, is easy to open and close -- and I love the color!
