Premier Protein was recommended to me by my physician when I was having trouble eating. It doesn't taste overly sugary like other meal replacement protein drinks. Creamy, smooth texture, and heavy enough to be fulfilling and give me enough energy to get through a few hours. Chocolate is my favorite. They each did, hesitantly, and were pleasantly surprised. Now they drink them about once a week. Refrigerate and shake WELL. Always smell before drinking. Keep in mind these drinks, like milk, can go sour from heat exposure, so smell before drinking and check the dates. I needed to add more protein to my diet, so I chose these Premiere shakes. They have a variety of different flavors to choose from and so far, chocolate is my favorite. These taste good either cold or at room temperature, which is a big plus, and the cost per case won't break you. Yes it’s not a chocolate shake but it tastes good. Low sugar and really high protein. Filling. My daughter likes the caramel flavor. A little too sweet for me. Got the banana flavor delivered today, haven’t tried it yet.

Overall, a good product and the flavor is good. What is annoying is that there is dried product inside the caps and bottle opening of every bottle. This is more of a manufacturing process versus a faulty product but you can taste the little bits from time to time. I’ve never experienced this with any other brand. I end up have to run a paper towel on the inside of each cap and the bottle opening to remove the residue. ... show more

I absolutely love Premier Protein shakes. I drink one almost every morning with my coffee/tea. It helps me to know I am getting some protein in and not having a sugar loaded breakfast. They are fabulous on the go in the car or running errands. I originally started drinking these because I knew I was low on protein due to noticing hair fall-out and this was a fast effective way to up my protein intake. I am very pleased. It’s quite a value, especially if you get it on sale. It has a lot of protein compared to how much money they are charging or how much you would pay for other protein drinks. I use it as a sort of flavoring in my coffee in the morning, so I don’t add extra sugar and milk. I buy a couple different kinds I rotate depending on what’s on sale. This café latte flavor has the best flavor to go into the coffee or to drink alone cold it’s the closest to a coffee flavor without the aftertaste. You could mix it with some ice and cold coffee and a blender and it would be very similar to a coffee house cold brew with extra protein and much much cheaper. I have tried getting the powder premier protein because per ounce. It is cheaper than the ready-made drinks in a container. However, I never could get the Premier protein powder to blend as well whether I did it hot or cold so I use these ready-made drinks instead and just mix them in my coffee. ... show more
