These batteries are great! They appear to be extremely powerful and last a long time. I bought a 20 pack in February of 2024 and have run out of batteries and will be ordering the 48 pack to restock. I have replaced all the name brand batteries in my various devices over that time and have NOT replaced one of the these batteries. They are very reasonably priced compared to the name brands. They come very, very close to lasting as long, if not longer, than name brand batteries. I will not use name brand batteries again. They are compatible with every device I have that requires a AA battery. I plan to get the larger 48 pack to have a few on hand for emergencies because you never know when they happen.

These are officially my favorite batteries ever and I didnât expect to have opinions about batteries, but here we are. First off: the value is amazing. Itâs a giant army of AAâs that actually last, which is a miracle when you have kids because every toy, remote, and random gadget seems to demand them daily. The part I didnât realize I would love? The PACKAGING. They come in this neat organized box so when you go to grab one, you donât accidentally release 14 rogue batteries rolling across the floor like a chaotic metal avalanche (which is exactly what every other battery pack does đ). You can literally open the box, grab what you need, close it, and life moves on. Performance-wise, theyâve been greatâ battery is long lasting and reliable for remotes, toys, flashlights, and holiday decorations. Plus the 10-year shelf life means I donât have to worry about stocking up. If your house also eats batteries for breakfast, get the big pack and thank yourself later.

I wanted to give these batteries a try and I am glad I did. They work just as well as the brand name batteries on the market and they do just as well. Very easy to put in and take out of any device you need one for. The Amazon Basic brand so far has lasted just as long as any other battery I have used. Since I use more of the AA size, I ordered the 48 pack to ensure I don't run out quickly. Since the batteries have a 10-year shelf life, I don't have to worry if I do not use any for awhile. So far they have worked well in any device I have used them for. I am very pleased with them and will continue to purchase them.

Good solid battery for the price. Long shelf life. The only issue I have is that I need to clean the contacts before using them. I have a GREAT battery tester (tests under load so very accurate), the ZTS â Mini Multi-Battery Load Tester Mini-MBT (with the Li-ion test points) so I know if the battery is good or not. Many times, I need to use a 000 Extra fine synthetic steel wool pad (good for doing dishes once broken in so buy several) in order to make sure the contacts are clean. After cleaning, they all test out 100%. I do the same with the devices that they are going into. So many times, the batteries are fine, but the contacts on the device are bent, dirty, or corroded. CLEAN the CONTACTS and you will be pleased with these batteries!

I bought the Amazon Basics 48-pack AA âHigh-Performanceâ batteries because I wanted to stop living like a raccoonâscavenging half-dead AAs from junk drawers and blaming âthe deviceâ like the device is being dramatic. These show up and immediately give you the energy of a person who owns a label maker. I became insufferable for ten minutes. Letâs talk about that phrase: âHigh-Performance.â The audacity. Itâs an AA battery. Itâs not training for a triathlon. But Iâll admit itâthese things perform. I put them in an Xbox controller and suddenly Iâm playing like Iâm sponsored. I tossed a couple into a flashlight and it turned on with the confidence of a guy who says âI got itâ while carrying a couch up stairs. The real feature here is the 48-pack. Forty-eight is not a number you buy casually. Forty-eight says, âIâve accepted that my home contains toys that beep, a clock that lies, and at least one device that only dies when guests are over.â Itâs also the perfect amount to feel prepared for an emergency youâll never actually prepare for. I slid the box into a cabinet and immediately felt ready for a blackout, a hurricane, or my kid discovering the sound effects button on a singing plush animal. They claim a 10-year leak-free shelf life, which is basically Amazon telling you, âGo ahead. Forget about these. Youâll find them in 2036 and theyâll still be fine.â Thatâs a bold promise, but honestly? I believe it, because these come in that Frustration-Free Packaging that opens like a normal human object. No plastic clamshell that requires bolt cutters and a tetanus shot. At 2AM, I tore it open, heard that crisp cardboard rip, and felt something close to peace. Important note: theyâre not rechargeable. And I appreciate how blunt that line isâno flirting, no âmaybe if you believe.â Just: Single use. Do not try to give these a second chance. Which is fair. These are the batteries you keep for the stuff you need to work now, not the batteries you put on a charger and then forget for three weeks next to your emotional support cables. Bottom line: if youâre constantly feeding batteries to controllers, toys, flashlights, clocks, and whatever mystery device your house has that only takes AAâs out of spite, this pack is the move. If youâre an âI recharge everythingâ person, youâll look at these like theyâre a fossil. Pros: - 48-pack means you stop playing âwhich remote is worth savingâ at 11PM - Works across the usual AA battery zoo: controllers, toys, flashlights, cameras, clocks, etc. - 10-year shelf life is perfect for emergency kits and procrastinators - Packaging opens without turning your kitchen into a crime scene - Reliable performance (aka: things turn on and stay on, which is all we ask) Cons: - Not rechargeable â these are a one-and-done relationship - âHigh-Performanceâ is hilarious marketing for something that lives in a drawer - If you buy 48, you will briefly feel superior to everyone you know (side effect) Best for: People with kids, game controllers, flashlights, emergency kits, or a household that runs on AA-powered chaos. Not for: Rechargeable-only purists who treat disposable batteries like a personal moral failing. Summary: A 48-pack of calm, competent little power cylindersâbecause your house deserves better than the half-dead AA you found rolling around with a paperclip and a Lego.

I purchased these Amazon Basics batteries to fill my battery daddy, and theyâve been excellent. They power everything from TV remotes and Xbox controllers to flashlights and kidsâ toys without any issues. The batteries last a long time and hold their charge well in storage, which is great when buying in bulk. I havenât experienced any leaks or duds in the pack, and performance has been great. For the price and reliability, this is an easy five star purchase that Iâll definitely keep reordering.
