  • Excellent Long-Lasting Batteries - Great Value!
Size: 48 Count (Pack of 1)
These Energizer Alkaline Power AAA Batteries are absolutely fantastic! The 32-count pack is such an incredible value and ensures I always have batteries on hand when needed. I've been using Energizer batteries for years, and they never disappoint. The long-lasting power is truly impressive - these batteries keep my devices running strong for much longer than other brands I've tried. I use them in everything from TV remotes, wireless keyboards, flashlights, children's toys, to gaming controllers, and they perform flawlessly in all applications. What I really appreciate is their reliable, consistent power output. They don't lose charge prematurely or leak like some cheaper batteries. The triple A size is so versatile and fits most of my household devices. The packaging is easy to open and the batteries are clearly labeled with expiration dates, which is very helpful for storage. I love that I can buy in bulk and save money while getting premium quality. These batteries hold their charge exceptionally well even when stored for extended periods. They work great in both high-drain and low-drain devices. I've noticed significantly fewer battery changes needed compared to other brands. The value for a 32-count pack is unbeatable! I highly recommend keeping a stock of these at home - you'll never regret having quality batteries ready when you need them! ... show more

  • High quality for a good price
Size: 48 Count (Pack of 1)
These are good batteries for a good price. They are long lasting but more than anything I like that they don't cost as much as a lot of other AA batteries.

  • Perform well and don't leak.
Size: 48 Count (Pack of 1)
These batteries perform comparably with name brands at a better price. I have had problems with old batteries leaking with name brands but never with the Amazon batteries. Leaking batteries can damage electronics. I have bought the Amazon brand in AA AAA D and 9 volt sizes and am very satisfied with the quality and how long they last in flashlights and remote controls. They are a great value. ... show more

  • Unbeatable Bulk Value for Low-to-Mid Drain Devices
Size: 48 Count (Pack of 1)
When managing a high-density equipment load—from patrol vehicle remotes to household sensors—the cost of name-brand power can scale quickly. The Amazon Basics 48-Pack AA Alkaline Batteries is a pragmatic "stockpile" solution that prioritizes sheer quantity and cost-efficiency over extreme high-drain endurance. Consistent Performance Across Daily Gear These 1.5V alkaline cells are engineered for reliable service in everyday electronics. In real-world testing, they perform on par with standard alkaline competitors when used in clocks, TV remotes, and wireless keyboards. Capacity: They typically deliver around 1900mAh at low discharge rates (200mA), which is competitive for their price point. Compatibility: They work seamlessly in game controllers and standard flashlights, providing steady power without the rapid "voltage drop" found in lower-tier generic brands. Emergency Readiness and Shelf Life The advertised 10-year shelf life is a critical feature for emergency kits and low-use equipment. Leak-Resistant Design: The construction includes a triple-layer safety valve to help prevent leaks, making them safer for long-term storage inside expensive equipment like digital cameras or portable radios. Bulk Packaging: The frustration-free cardboard box makes it easy to keep the remaining 47 batteries organized on a workshop shelf without them rolling loose in a drawer. The "High-Drain" Reality While these are excellent for most tasks, they have limitations in professional-grade high-drain scenarios. Intensive Use: In high-power devices like RC cars or professional camera flashes, they may only last about 80% as long as premium lithium or specialized industrial cells. Environmental Impact: As single-use cells, they lack the long-term sustainability and cost-per-use benefits of NiMH rechargeables for high-rotation items like Xbox controllers. Final Verdict The Amazon Basics 48-Pack is a definitive "best bang for your buck" utility. It removes the stress of running out of power for standard household and professional accessories. While they might not be the top choice for extreme high-draw gear, their reliability, quantity, and 10-year shelf life make them a fundamental staple for any organized bench or supply closet. ... show more

  • The Battery Pack That Says “I Have My Life Together” (I Don’t)
Size: 48 Count (Pack of 1)
I bought the Amazon Basics 48-pack AA “High-Performance” batteries because I wanted to stop living like a raccoon—scavenging half-dead AAs from junk drawers and blaming “the device” like the device is being dramatic. These show up and immediately give you the energy of a person who owns a label maker. I became insufferable for ten minutes. Let’s talk about that phrase: “High-Performance.” The audacity. It’s an AA battery. It’s not training for a triathlon. But I’ll admit it—these things perform. I put them in an Xbox controller and suddenly I’m playing like I’m sponsored. I tossed a couple into a flashlight and it turned on with the confidence of a guy who says “I got it” while carrying a couch up stairs. The real feature here is the 48-pack. Forty-eight is not a number you buy casually. Forty-eight says, “I’ve accepted that my home contains toys that beep, a clock that lies, and at least one device that only dies when guests are over.” It’s also the perfect amount to feel prepared for an emergency you’ll never actually prepare for. I slid the box into a cabinet and immediately felt ready for a blackout, a hurricane, or my kid discovering the sound effects button on a singing plush animal. They claim a 10-year leak-free shelf life, which is basically Amazon telling you, “Go ahead. Forget about these. You’ll find them in 2036 and they’ll still be fine.” That’s a bold promise, but honestly? I believe it, because these come in that Frustration-Free Packaging that opens like a normal human object. No plastic clamshell that requires bolt cutters and a tetanus shot. At 2AM, I tore it open, heard that crisp cardboard rip, and felt something close to peace. Important note: they’re not rechargeable. And I appreciate how blunt that line is—no flirting, no “maybe if you believe.” Just: Single use. Do not try to give these a second chance. Which is fair. These are the batteries you keep for the stuff you need to work now, not the batteries you put on a charger and then forget for three weeks next to your emotional support cables. Bottom line: if you’re constantly feeding batteries to controllers, toys, flashlights, clocks, and whatever mystery device your house has that only takes AA’s out of spite, this pack is the move. If you’re an “I recharge everything” person, you’ll look at these like they’re a fossil. Pros: - 48-pack means you stop playing “which remote is worth saving” at 11PM - Works across the usual AA battery zoo: controllers, toys, flashlights, cameras, clocks, etc. - 10-year shelf life is perfect for emergency kits and procrastinators - Packaging opens without turning your kitchen into a crime scene - Reliable performance (aka: things turn on and stay on, which is all we ask) Cons: - Not rechargeable — these are a one-and-done relationship - “High-Performance” is hilarious marketing for something that lives in a drawer - If you buy 48, you will briefly feel superior to everyone you know (side effect) Best for: People with kids, game controllers, flashlights, emergency kits, or a household that runs on AA-powered chaos. Not for: Rechargeable-only purists who treat disposable batteries like a personal moral failing. Summary: A 48-pack of calm, competent little power cylinders—because your house deserves better than the half-dead AA you found rolling around with a paperclip and a Lego. ... show more

  • No Duds. Solid Quality. Go-To Brand. No Duds. Solid Quality. Go-To Brand.
Size: 48 Count (Pack of 1)
6 Stars. I have never - ever - had an issue with Amazon Basics batteries. And the fact there are no duds and they hold their juice for a long time, enables me to buy a 48-pack with the confidence that they'll be good to the last battery. I keep them in a resealable bag in a garage fridge with all my other batteries. Maybe they're fresh and far from their expiration because they sell such high volumes and turn over their inventory. Or maybe they sell so much inventory because the price is right and there are no/few duds. For what it's worth, I've bought batteries from a national brick and mortar electronics chain and if you open the package and get duds, you can't return them. I bought in order to replenish my wildlife cameras; that's 8 batteries per camera for several cameras once a year. Not including remote controls, etc. Why should I have to buy batteries twice? Why should I have to make a career out of this? I don't need the stress their friction-point policies impose. Now, I can see how folks would return them for a refund but put old batteries in the open package and thereby get free batteries. I get it and it ticks me off that they ruin it for the rest of us. But if you open the package and get duds, you cannot be issued a refund for this very reason. This happened to me twice, that is on two occasions I bought batteries at this chain and they were duds. The second time I refused to take no for an answer for a refund and escalated it up and down the store's hierarchy until I got to a decision maker who could override the policy. But by that time, the damage was done. What ever happened to considering future cash flows from a customer? It wasn't the money; it was the principle that my money wasn't a dud so the product I receive in exchange shouldn't be either. Do you think I've bought batteries there since? Nope. Has it given me less reason to walk into their store and buy anything at all? Yep, 100% actually. No more meandering walks to see what's in store. No more impulse buys. I'll keep buying these. They're so solid. Problem solved. ... show more
