I was nervous to buy this pool with so few reviews, but it has been great! It was easy to set up once we used some soapy water to get the frame poles through the liner. The pump and salt system do what they’re supposed to do and we’re pretty easy to setup. The water analyzer that came with it is junk though. I think it was used because it was all corroded and I couldn’t ever get it connected to the app anyway so it’s now in the trash and got a different one that is also junk. But everything else is great!! Also, I absolutely love the stairs. They were a pain to put together but they’re so stable that even my dog figured them out quickly! And I love that they fold up when we’re not using it. Side note: don’t follow the salt requirement of 3000ppm that is standard with most salt systems. I did that by mistake and had to partially drain and refill my pool to get it to the correct level. It only needs 950ppm to operate. ... show more

Set it up praying it did not have a hole in the seam like the few other reviews I saw. Welp no such luck, there is a hole in the seam and it has leakage. Will be calling Intex. Love it otherwise but it was so much work to put up and now I’m frustrated. Love the size I got 20 round seems perfect and the overall appearance is beautiful but the quality is just not there. ... show more

We’re extremely happy with this pool so far. The overall quality of everything included is much better than I expected. The stairs especially are very well made and feel sturdy, and the liner feels thick, heavy, and durable — definitely not flimsy. For us, the ground prep took longer than the actual pool assembly. My 70-year-old dad and I kept it pretty simple: we used a large 2x4 and a level, removed the grass, and took our time getting the area as flat as possible. The included ground cover worked perfectly once we had the space prepped. The actual pool assembly was surprisingly easy. With three people helping, we had it put together in about an hour and a half. This was our first time setting up an above ground pool, so I was worried it was going to be complicated, but having all the accessories packaged together made a huge difference. The included instructions were very helpful, and there are also a lot of good YouTube videos that walk through the setup step by step, which made the whole process even easier. We also added a separate pool heater for colder mornings, and that was easy to set up as well. The water comes out of the filter, goes into the heater, and then back into the pool. No issues there at all. One of our favorite parts is the saltwater system. It feels so much better than traditional chlorine — better on skin and hair, and without that strong chlorine smell. Everything arrived in perfect condition, and the pool was actually delivered two days earlier than the original estimate. The delivery team was also beyond helpful. They were clearly used to handling larger items, which was another pleasant surprise. Overall, no issues at all. This pool is next level. All of the little details and extras make it well worth it. Set up was a little tough, but overall not bad. I wish the instructions were a little better for the pump, but it does work really well.

Loving the new pool! Only reason for 4 stars is some lack of clarity on instructions. Pay close attention on ladder install instructions and pray that the A and B “stickers” are correct on your ladder. The embossed ones should be your guide. Suction could be a bit stronger on the skimmer but our robot pool vacuum helps catch debris skimmer misses. Make sure you follow the instructions on how much salt you add when opening. 55#-60# is the sweet spot.. anymore and you’ll have to drain. We love it!! ... show more

    • Do the math and add half the salt you need

Do NOT use AI to figure out how much salt you need. Read the paper manual for the filter and test your water salinity before you add a salt. Use the recommended lbs of salt in the table. Make sure to: Absolutely Use the math formula in the filter manual to figure out how much salt to add. Do NOT use well water to fill your pool. It will have metals and minerals that will throw off the salinity readings. Put in half the salt you think you need and then test salinity reading. You can always add more salt, but you can’t take it out. ... show more

    • Came with a hole in it...and faulty chlorinator

Came with a hole in iton the seam. Over priced and not a quality item.... The Salt water chlorinator gives a high salt code even with salt readings under 3500ppm. Will never buy another Intex pool. Called support they never sent the email with the claim number or instructions on what they needed me to do but I got the their survey..... ... show more
