Amazing hot tub. We went with the salt water version. Very simple to put up and get started. Use the paper manual and not the video. Very durable. We fit four adults with no problem. The WiFi compatibility is great using the app to check on the hot tub.

DO NOT BUY!!!!! The customer service is horrible. The unit held air until we filled it with water. After it was filled with water the unit had to be refilled with air every 8-hrs. The manual says the unit needs constant attention. Believe it! It took two days to heat, used one time, missed the 8-hr refill with air window and the unit deflated and dumped half the water onto covered patio. We paid $1044.47 for the unit with tax. They are charging restocking fee and only refunding us $522.23. Of course unit has been used. That’s how we know it’s a lemon and doesn’t work. Three mechanic neighbors helped keep it inflated. While inflating, the inside bubbles would flow. Inside bubbles were activated any time inflation was. Very flawed system. Company refused to allow us to ship back in two boxes. The lid, insert and tub were impossible to shrink compress so they would all fit in original packaging. We had to buy box twice the size of original to ship back. DO NOT BUY. Also, once filled and started heating we got error code not enough salt. We added more salt but system wouldn’t acknowledge that salt was added and stopped heating. Had to unplug system and allow computer to reboot. This unit was waaaay more needy of my time/attention than a regular hard shell hot tub. DO NOT BUY. Husband needed hot soaks for back injury. We thought this would be good. Wrong! He couldn’t help with it. Friends did and we were shocked how hard the cover was to get on/off (think of a fitted bottom sheet on a mattress.) and the fact that it wouldn’t hold air. DO NOT BUY!!!!

The media could not be loaded. I was hesitant given some of the lukewarm reviews, but I'm so glad I bought this hot tub. Excellent for renters, budget-conscious folks, or first-time hot tub owners who want to learn the ropes before investing in a permanent installation. I was afraid it might feel childish like some kind of glorified kiddie pool, but it absolutely does not. I've enjoyed every minute of my new backyard oasis. It took a day-and-a-half to heat up to 104 degrees, but once there, it stays there pretty consistently. When I turn the bubbles on, it drops a few degrees after about 30 minutes. But it's still plenty toasty. I've stayed in as long as 90 minutes without feeling like the water lost too much heat. Setup was manageable - I'm an out of shape middle-aged woman with severe arthritis, and I did it all by myself. I couldn't lift or move the heavy box it all came in, but I just took out the individual components one at a time and moved it that way. I've used traditional hot tubs quite a bit, and I was afraid I might miss the contoured seating. But surprisingly, I don't. Sitting on the flat floor of this inflatable tub is not uncomfortable at all. It actually gets me deeper into the water - up to my shoulders. The bubbles are also very relaxing - maybe even more so than the more aggressive jets that assault you in a traditional tub. But I've actually used it just as much without the bubbles as with them. It's nice to enjoy the quiet outdoors with the bubbles off. I was disappointed that the price dropped $200 a week after I bought this, but we all know that sometimes happens with Amazon. Even at the $1200 price point that I paid, I think it was 100% worth it. It helps with my aching joints, eases stress from a busy day of work, makes for a fantastic lunch-break getaway, and also helps me sleep better. I got it in December and have used it in temps as low as 30 degrees with no issues. One note that many others have already said - there's no way this is a six-person hot tub. I'm surprised Intex hasn't gotten in trouble for claiming that. Could you squeeze six people in here physically? Yes. Could you enjoy the hot tub comfortably with six people? In my opinion, no. But since I'm usually in here by myself, that's not an issue for me. Also - the maintenance does take some getting used to. It's not exactly plug and play, especially if you're new to water testing. But it's something I'm willing to learn in exchange for all the benefits I'm enjoying. Oh and one more thing - the mobile app is a fantastic bonus! So nice to be able to check the water temperature from the comfort of my couch and run a sanitation cycle by tapping a button without having to trek outside. Overall, I absolutely love it. One of my highest returns on investment for improving quality of life.

Almost happy with the product though a few pointers to consider. The thermal blow up top needed 3 small holes repaired where the plastic had been folded whilst packed and shipped. I’d suggest so compressed that it split the material. Ensure the valve from the compressor unit to the tub wall is very tight - otherwise it will deflate over time. Lastly is the thermal cover - the plastic foam like layer inside the cover is not fixed in place and has dislodged gathering at one end during use. Very frustrating as I cannot work out how to adjust. Over all a product that has nearly got it right but would suggest looking elsewhere until these issues are remedied.

Haven’t used the hot tub yet, but setup was fairly simple would have been easier if they had labeled the different pieces. This hot tub does NOT come with salt. We ordered some but came a day after the tub so the low salt code continued to beep when on.

I love this hot tub! The saltwater filtering and sanitation is much different than the chlorine type, as I have owned both. The heating/filtration system makes this model easy to maintain as long as you care for it. Intex is much better than the Coleman ....except for the cover...Coleman cover has a much better design. But, I didn't want this purchase for the cover......I wanted to be able to soak my tired body after each 12hr work day without too much hassle with maintenance. I couldn't be happier with my purchase! BUY IT.

I really wanted to love this. It just doesn't seem to work. Heater panel works when it wants. My wifi is excellent so not an issue as it shows. It seems I must use it from my phone. I rather use just the panel but can't. I keep having to unplug and restart as it keeps freezing up. I guess this is defective. This is definitely not for 6 people but more for 4. I'm very unhappy as this is heavy and hard to pack up and return. I will be returning it. Wish I could of kept it. Unfortunately very frustrating.
