  • Great pool so far!
Size: 8' 6" x 5' 3" x 25"
So far so good! Got this built within a few hours by myself (35 year old female). Because it’s a million degrees in Texas, I decided to put it together in bite-sized chunks. Every time I let the dogs outside, I’d build another wall or two. Before I knew, it was ready for water! It’s filling as we speak, which may actually take a few hours because this medium-sized pool is actually quite large! It can easily fit several large adults comfortably. Looks and feels really durable, so we’ll see how it holds up. As for the ease of installation, I’d probably recommend it being a two person job, but definitely doable for one adult - just make sure to follow the instructions carefully, know where each pole goes, and take note of where the holes are on each because it really does matter. I know it may seem counterproductive to do the top first, as the instructions are stated, but it actually does make this build a lot easier. I’d say it’s absolutely worth the money so far, but we’ll see after a month or so of use! Note: I’m not using the filter parts because I don’t care to deal with it or purchase a pump, so I can’t speak to that. Also, I got this for myself and my fiance to cool off over the summer and I would absolutely call this an adult pool. Tips: • DO follow directions - don’t wing it, I guarantee you’ll likely have to take things apart and redo them. • DO leave it out for at least 24 hours as stated in the directions - it’s a surprisingly important first step. • Once fully built, make sure the side legs are completely out and pressed against the T-shaped holders at the bottom of the pool. This will ensure its stability. • For this particular size, I would NOT recommend children being left unattended, as it’s quite large and deep. I wouldn’t recommend for dogs either because it’s simply too large, unless you have a pony for a dog or don’t mind picking them up and taking them out - PLEASE don’t leave dogs/animals or children unattended with this pool. If you need that, this isn’t the pool for you. • If you don’t use the filter system, still make sure to put the stoppers in the filter holes so the water doesn’t drain out. (This can be an easy step to miss if you aren’t careful) • I recommend a small chlorine floater that uses the small tablets. Super easy and cheap for maintenance. • I also recommend a cover whether you do or don’t use the filter system. This will keep it much cleaner and help ensure that small wildlife doesn’t get in that can’t get out. • If you don’t want to spring for a net for cleaning, just pull debris out by hand or use a colander or kitchen sieve. Simple and effective! ... show more

  • I Tried....
Size: 8' 6" x 5' 3" x 25"
Leaks, leaks, leaks! I finally threw it out! Waste of time, money and only swam in it once. It's nothing like the reviews that show the "ease of assembly!!" It's took me two afternoons and I am very good with putting things together. The instructions refer to different models that you "may have purchased." That means there is basically no instructions....extremely user unfriendly. I sat ours on an Intex ground cover. The surface is a perfectly flat concrete area 5 times the pool size. The concrete has faux grass. Yet still, the poles bent inward, buckling the sides. I had high hopes and spent several afternoons putting the pool, filter, solar warmer and chlorine duck together and into action. So yes, I went all in for the whole backyard pool thing. The pool just leaks at every turn and it's basically a pain in the arse. I hate to write bad reviews but hey...there it is. For the total I spent on all the gear and the pool, I could have rented a pool by the hour online! ... show more

  • Great pool! Read for setup tips
Size: 9' 10" x 6' 7" x 29.5"
This is a great pool, but there are some things you should know about setup. 1. Be sure the ground is level. That is usually obvious but this pool’s poles on the sides do NOT clip into each other. They are only pushed into each other. 2. Because the poles do not click together, be sure that they are really tight before you get too much water in the pool. If you have too much water, the pool sleeve puts too much weight for you to slide them back together for a snug fit. 3. The joint between the poles is just to support them from buckling. See importance in #2. If they are not snug and sort of buckle, your sides will kind of bow in. (See my pics) If you ensure they are snug, you will get straight sides like several other pictures. I went wrong with my setup because I tried to move the pool down when all the poles were together which made some of them separate a little. I didn’t notice until there was way too much water to try to move the pool sleeve for a tighter fit. Even with the slight bowing, the pool, sides and structure are solid. I just wish I had read about the poles. Also, the joints in the middle do not have any screws or connectors or anything in them that would cause concern that you see pictures with raised pieces on each side of the joint. I saw a picture with concern about it holding up. I expected to have the joint slide into the poles with those little metal buttons the depress to fit the pieces together. It didn’t have that so the raised sides of the joint had no bearing on the construction. The pool has been up for 30 days or so and it is very easy to maintain. I used a little larger pump at 1500 gph vs the 1000 others have used. (I opted for the bigger one due to my extremely hot climate to prevent the slimy sides without using a ton of chemicals.) ... show more

  • 1st summer use - Just the right size for us!
Size: 9' 10" x 6' 7" x 29.5"
I ordered this because we wanted something bigger than what we had. We can fit two float chairs in there and be comfortable. This is the 1st summer we have had the pool, so far it has held up to its standards. It fits perfectly on where we have the most level of the yard. I also bought the ground cover after reading that weeds can grow through the lining. With the ground cover we did not have anything grow through the lining. ... show more
