  • Great pool!
Size: 8' 6" x 5' 3" x 25"
This was a great purchase! Easy setup! Durable! Decent size & price for the pool. Whole family can enjoy & cool off. Highly recommend purchasing a pump (intex makes one of those as well - easy to add with order).

  • Perfect for needs vs wants
Size: 9' 10" x 6' 7" x 29.5"
I went into this expecting a basic, budget-friendly pool—but this INTEX rectangular frame pool completely exceeded my expectations. First off, the size is perfect. It’s large enough for multiple people to comfortably relax or play, but still compact enough to fit in a normal backyard without taking over the entire space. The rectangular shape is a huge plus—it actually gives you usable room to stretch out, unlike round pools where space feels limited. One of my favorite things is the depth. At just under 30 inches, it’s absolutely perfect for kids. They can stand, play, and splash around safely without it feeling too deep or intimidating. My kids love it—they’ve been in it every chance they get, and it’s become the highlight of their day. The steel frame construction feels solid and well-built. Once assembled and filled, it holds its shape really well and doesn’t feel flimsy at all. You can tell right away that this isn’t one of those cheap, temporary pools—it’s designed to last through the season (and beyond if you take care of it). Setup was surprisingly straightforward. If you’ve got a level surface and take your time, you can have it ready without any major headaches. Definitely recommend having two people for faster assembly, but it’s not overly complicated. One thing to note—the pump is not included. That might seem like a downside at first, but honestly, it’s a benefit. It lets you choose a better quality pump instead of being stuck with a weak one. I paired mine with a stronger filter system, and the water has stayed crystal clear. Durability has been excellent so far. The liner feels thick and resistant, and it handles regular use without any issues. Kids, adults, splashing—no problem. Overall, this pool delivers serious value for the price. It’s sturdy, spacious, and practical. If you’re looking for a reliable above-ground pool that doesn’t feel cheap or cramped, this is an easy recommendation. Highly satisfied and would absolutely buy again. ... show more

  • Great pool for the money
Size: 9' 10" x 6' 7" x 29.5"
I debated a long time on which pool to get, due to prime day, I also have the 10×10 round pool in it's box. I am on day one, so this review may change as the summer goes on. The set up: Pros: pretty easy, I did it by myself in around an hour. Cons: I don't know who wrote these directions, but they are awful. I watched some videos on youtube that helped. Pros of the 9'10"x6'6" Pros: it feels nice, sizeable, you can doggy paddle in it for sure. I am a relatively tall adult and it is nicely sized, and adequately deep. The frame is pretty sturdy. I wasn't able to get it on perfectly level ground, but it is solid. It looks easy to disassemble, pack back up and store during the winter. Cons: It does not come with the filter pump, I had to order it separately, and the instructions for it (intex C1000) were a confusing dumpster fire. It is not 6'6" wide. It is a little less. Not a huge deal, but noticeable. I was looking forward to being able to stretch out in either direction and not touch the walls with my head or feet, but I can. I got a pool liner, and put the pool liner on top of interlocking foam floor mats for additional protection. Make sure that you rake hard and inspect every part of your yard where it is going for sticks. Anyways, I'm a big fan thus far. ... show more

  • Great pool so far!
Size: 8' 6" x 5' 3" x 25"
So far so good! Got this built within a few hours by myself (35 year old female). Because it’s a million degrees in Texas, I decided to put it together in bite-sized chunks. Every time I let the dogs outside, I’d build another wall or two. Before I knew, it was ready for water! It’s filling as we speak, which may actually take a few hours because this medium-sized pool is actually quite large! It can easily fit several large adults comfortably. Looks and feels really durable, so we’ll see how it holds up. As for the ease of installation, I’d probably recommend it being a two person job, but definitely doable for one adult - just make sure to follow the instructions carefully, know where each pole goes, and take note of where the holes are on each because it really does matter. I know it may seem counterproductive to do the top first, as the instructions are stated, but it actually does make this build a lot easier. I’d say it’s absolutely worth the money so far, but we’ll see after a month or so of use! Note: I’m not using the filter parts because I don’t care to deal with it or purchase a pump, so I can’t speak to that. Also, I got this for myself and my fiance to cool off over the summer and I would absolutely call this an adult pool. Tips: • DO follow directions - don’t wing it, I guarantee you’ll likely have to take things apart and redo them. • DO leave it out for at least 24 hours as stated in the directions - it’s a surprisingly important first step. • Once fully built, make sure the side legs are completely out and pressed against the T-shaped holders at the bottom of the pool. This will ensure its stability. • For this particular size, I would NOT recommend children being left unattended, as it’s quite large and deep. I wouldn’t recommend for dogs either because it’s simply too large, unless you have a pony for a dog or don’t mind picking them up and taking them out - PLEASE don’t leave dogs/animals or children unattended with this pool. If you need that, this isn’t the pool for you. • If you don’t use the filter system, still make sure to put the stoppers in the filter holes so the water doesn’t drain out. (This can be an easy step to miss if you aren’t careful) • I recommend a small chlorine floater that uses the small tablets. Super easy and cheap for maintenance. • I also recommend a cover whether you do or don’t use the filter system. This will keep it much cleaner and help ensure that small wildlife doesn’t get in that can’t get out. • If you don’t want to spring for a net for cleaning, just pull debris out by hand or use a colander or kitchen sieve. Simple and effective! ... show more

  • Great overall
Size: 9' 10" x 6' 7" x 29.5"
From the second it got delivered to filling it up completely, it only took two hours TOTAL. This is the 9ftX6ft pool, we also separately bought the intex C530 pump which was very easy to set up and get running, along with the intex skimmer and 3” chlorine tabs. The only issue we’ve run into is the sides of the metal frame bowing inwards. They were caving in from the second we started building it but I’ve read other reviews though and it seems to be a common thing, hopefully it won’t become an issue. We leveled out the ground under it and put fake grass down as padding instead of a tarp. It’s a great size, fit myself (5’7”) my husband (6ft) and our three year old with tons of room to spare. So far no leaks or holes ... show more

  • Exceeds expectations
Size: 9' 10" x 6' 7" x 29.5"
Excellent product for inexpensive summer fun. Feels larger than actual size. Most customers say this is great for kids and dogs. I say this is great for a single adult (and a few friends) who want to relax in essentially a giant outdoor tub. I can sit comfortably with my head above water, it heats up quickly in the sun and at 88 degrees, it’s a perfect balance between a pool and hot tub. You will definitely need to get at least an 800gph filter pump, a gallon of pool cleaner, testing strips and skimmer. Make sure your ground is level and read the instructions thoroughly, set up is very easy. ... show more

  • Great pool!
Size: 9' 10" x 6' 7" x 29.5"
So far it’s great! The perfect size for the kids to swim and us adults to lounge and float. Very easy to put together and you can’t beat the price! It doesn’t come with a pump/filter so you will need to buy your own.. but it doesn’t come with extra tubing for a potential pump. So far it’s super durable and easy to install . This pool actually surprised me with how fast it was filled with water. I’d definitely recommend this pool! ... show more

  • A wonderfully sturdy and substantial pool!
Size: 9' 10" x 6' 7" x 29.5"
I am absolutely in love with my pool! Like other reviewers, I am amazed at how substantial and sturdy it seems to be. I'm really glad that I got the pool with a depth of nearly 30", because it allows me to fully immerse. I can't exactly swim in it, but I can have a wonderful session of "aqua aerobics," after which I feel so energized and refreshed. I had my "handyman" assemble it for me, and it seemed to go quite easily for him, and took under an hour. Since my yard is mostly gravel, he bought two big sheets of plywood to go underneath, over which we laid a big felt mat--and it feels both stable and comfortable on the feet. I bought a "solar ionizer" rather than a pump, as I wanted to avoid dealing with electricity. I've been using the pool every day for the last 11 days, and so far the water has been staying crystal clear. I do cover it up overnight, and I have bromine tablets coming soon, as I know that the clarity won't last forever without at least a bit more intervention. This has quite honestly been life-changing for me, and has given a huge "alpha bump" to my quality of life and sense of well-being! ... show more
