This pool went on sale for $180 at the beginning of summer. We are newer to the South and some days the summer weather is unbearable. Cooling off in the pool sounded like a great idea but we weren’t ready to commit to an above ground pool. For that price, we took a chance and (although chlorine cost almost as much as the pool) it does not disappoint! Setup was quick and easy- they recommend a specialized mat but we used a tarp over Bermuda grass and haven’t had issues yet- about 3 months in. Most critical is setting it up on a level surface to get the most depth. The instructions said 1 hour setup and if you had their mat, inflator, etc. (all extra) I’m sure it would be that quick. It took a couple of hours for layout, blowup, and smoothing the bottom as we started filling it up. Perfect for 2 senior citizens to sit in and stay cool. You will need another young person to get on their hands and knees to smooth out the floor of the pool. We bought the pool mats to line and protect the pool bottom, because we sit in plastic chairs in the pool. Must be a little agile to swing a leg over the edge to get in. WE love it! ... show more

This pool is wonderful for those hot days. Inflated quickly. We did get the tiniest hole the second day but we duct taped it. Great value. I wish it had a clip to hold the garden hose in place when filling cause the hose kept falling out of the pool since the edges were so high.

You can say I am an expert with these pools. For the money, they are hard to beat. I bought it for my kid because the local village would put me through hell if I put in a real pool, so this is what I settled for. Anyway, these pools work but the filters are garbage. In order to get a proper filter, by the Intek filter that does 2500 gph. Anything smaller isn't nearly enough. You will need the Intex 1-1/4" to 1-1/2 adapters to make it work and 1-1/2" hoses. ... show more

Went up easy enough. No leaks. 3months so far. Sides seem sturdy. Grandkids love it. I’d say it’s definitely worth the cost. (Under $150 when I purchased)

Great idea, great value. Two problems: 1 - It was not at all clear how to set up the pump hoses. You Tube videos showed different models. Video from Intex was superficial, no help on hoses and pump. Written instructions, same thing. FINALLY noticed a diagram (no instructions) on parts box and Voila! Success But why not make our lives easier with clear, complete instructions? Other Issue: Filled Pool to bottom of tube as directed. Water is only 21” deep, not 33”. Am I supposed to fill it another 12”? I didn’t think so . Update: I was able to get it to 25" deep, but really don't think it can handle more. And oh, by the way, it's 11" across, not 13". Oh well. ... show more
