Easy assembly and take apart. Kids absolutely loved it and so did my husband and I! We did purchase a fountain and skimmer basket to use with the pool which made the world of difference to clean the water. Pump is fine, but filtration wasn’t great with existing kit. External purchase helped a lot.

I can’t complain. Almost 2 years ago Cape Coral was ravaged by Hurricane Ian. We got the eye wall from different angles for hours. This pool was peppered by my neighbors shingles. Half his roof was in my pool and my back yard. I ended up with one tiny tiny leak from a shingle which was easily repaired. I honestly thought the pool was not going to survive. At the rate, it was getting peppered with my neighbors shingles I thought for sure it was gonna slice the pool wide-open. But it survived and I can’t ask for more.     • Poor Liner Quality and Ineffective Pump
I rarely write reviews, but I feel like people need to be warned before spending their money on this pool. We used the pool for only three months last summer before taking it down and carefully storing it in heavy-duty storage bins in our garage. When we set it back up this year, we discovered countless pinhole leaks throughout the liner. We've spent days trying to find and patch them one by one because our two kids have been excitedly waiting to swim this summer. Unfortunately, the problems don't stop there. The pump that comes with the pool is terrible. Last summer, we constantly battled cloudy, algae-filled water despite adding large amounts of chlorine and other chemicals on a daily basis. Keeping the water clean was a never-ending struggle. Overall, this pool has been nothing but a headache. Between the poor-quality liner and the ineffective pump, I would never purchase an Intex pool again. ... show more

    • Took 3 people to setup
Although technically not challenging, it was a lot of work for my senior-age dad and me to set up for my kids. We had to get my teenage daughter to help us hook all the vertical poles into the horizontal T-joints. Glad we had the extra set of hands! It didn't help that it was really hot outside. We spent some time trying to level the ground, and even after all that, it still wasn't quite level. I wish I had turned the filter drain side more towards the lower side. The pool is of good quality and design. The cover is not so well designed. It barely fits the top rail, and the small overhanging skirt is was too short. The drawstring is very stretchy and hard to tie. There are no holes to attach my weights, so I used tripled up bulldog clips. I’ve recovered this pool twice so far ( December)See picture. ... show more

First day we put it up there is a hole in it. We put duck tape on the hole and so far it’s held up but there shouldn’t be no hole in it for the price we’re paying on it. You can see the tape on the pic where the hole is. It’s not big but it’s there. Didn’t feel like returning it bc it’s so big.

We buy a new Intex pool about every three years, as that is about the lifespan (and tolerance for storing one through MN winters) for a large rubber pool. This 18' x 48" pool is much like the past pools we have had, just larger. It set up in about 1.5 hours, and took about 18 hours to fill. The cover seems to be a little on the small side, and I bet it ends up in the next county after tonight's storm. (Update - it made it about 10 minutes. The cover is not awesome.) Besides that, I anticipate this pool will be a hit when the temps reach the 90's. They always are.... ... show more
