The seller advertised and in box new processor. I ran a check on the processor on Intel warranty page and found that the seller sold me a "made for China" cpu. it worked but a new CPU has a 3 year warranty, this thing has a 1 year left in warranty, was made for the China market, was not sent in the original box. The product is exactly what I wanted. 18 core 10980xe. Good deal and shipping was really fast.     • I don’t think I got a new one
I ordered the $1200 brand new chip. I was expecting to get a nice Intel package. But the chip came in with a small plastic chip holder rather than a sealed package. I can see some light scratches on the chip. I don’t think this is brand new at all.

    • Lots of PCIe Lanes which is so rare now.
I was able to get all my peripherals going with those 48 lanes, plus my motherboard lanes. Running a 7 camera studio off it no sweat.
