This is a large and well built hard case for long guns. The AirForce Texan LSS 0.457 air rifle measures in at 61" with the custom Maddog rifle stock and fits this case with room for padding. Case width and depth are perfect for the mounted ATN Thermal Scope optics. The foam cuts easily with a new utility knife and I find it superior to the pre-cut or diced foam of other cases. This is a really great case for protecting your valuable pew pews. I keep both a sig m400 and a MVP lc 556 in this case, both have larger scopes and bipods and fitment is not an issue. The foam is very dense and easy to cut, i recommend using a fine tip, silver color sharpie marker to outline your pew pew, and a razor blade to trim the outline. The latches and handles on this case are very sturdy. The latches secure very well to the case and there is no “slop” between the two halves of the case, it is a very secure closure. The handles are very solid, again no slop in the hinges of the handles, and they seem to be very strong. The wheels on the bottom of the case are also very high quality, with good “roll-a-bility”. I would recommend this case to anyone who wants a case that will protect their valuables from just about anything. ... show more

Man what an excellent case. Well crafted, durable and accessible. I honestly thought it had a locking mechanism on the front the way it was pictured, with a round structure clearly marked into the middle of the socket under the handle. But I guess I overlooked that feature wasn't boasted about. There are holes for locks to go, so I'm glad about that since my rifle came with a lock that fits perfectly 2 times through it. My only small complaint (aside from asssuming it has what looks like a built in locking mechanism) is that there is no stay straps (or lid stays, support straps, or restraint straps). They prevent the lid from falling backward or straining the hinges by limiting how far it can open. Every time I go to show a buddy my rifle I pull the case out and they open it up and the top half falls down and slams to the ground. If you did implement those straps, I would make them able to be disconnected as well, for those who still need this type of functionality though. :) ... show more
